Le formidable accueil d'un pub irlandais est une attraction universelle, et ce dans n'importe quelle ville du monde. Lorsqu'une ville possède un pub irlandais aussi légendaire que le Pub irlandais Hurley de Montréal, c'est d'une véritable institution phare dont il est question.
Dans l'ensemble, Hurley's à Yul recueille des avis mitigés des voyageurs, certains apprécient un service efficace et chaleureux qui peut rendre l'attente avant le départ supportable, d'autres visites souffrent d'un accueil lent, d'un manque d'attention et de tarifs élevés pour un restaurant d'aéroport. La qualité des plats varie, allant de plats corrects ou bons classiques de pub à des expériences décevantes comme des portions petites, des plats parfois froids ou peu inspirés, et des avis sur la présentation et la fraîcheur qui divergent. Le lieu est souvent vu comme une option pratique pour manger ou boire rapidement avant l'embarquement, surtout lorsque le personnel est attentif et que la vue sur les avions ajoute au charme.
I don't know if it was because it was early or busy but the waiter was a bit rude. They were never friendly throughout the whole meal & every time they would be speaking to me, they would have this annoyed infliction in their voice while they were so much more polite & friendly with other customers. The food itself was pretty basic. I feel like for 22$ a plate, the portion & the food was really underwhelming. There was nothing special at all about their'special breakfast', I really don't see why they would charge so much for such a regular breakfast. While you are having your breakfast, you would get a lot of people walking by & just staring & chit chatting which made the dining experience less enjoyable. The table was also not cleaned properly when I was sat at the table which does not help.
The problem at YUL is all restaurants are terrible. There's not too many options so, I you need to eat you will have to just pick the least worst.
This one surprised me because after reading the reviews my expectations were very low.
I have to say I had one of the best French fries ever. Usually I just try a few & never eat it, Here I was so tempted to ask for more!
I sat at the bar, & the server-bartender was doing his job efficiently & helpful.
This is my second visit & di far I'm not disappointed.

My flight was delayed & every bar & restaurant in the terminal had closed by the time I went to Hurley's pub. Fernando, who was working on Wednesday July 9th evening, was so kind to tell me they were still open & serve me a drink. I had it & more customers joined me (4 people) he served all of us kindly & professionally even though he was supposed to close the place way before we left. He made my day & the day of the other guests, thank you so much for being an amazing host, Fernando!
Absolutely zero sense of urgency from the staff. Waited 20 minutes just to order & after 40 minutes, I got my food (was just a salad) & then waited another 30 minutes after I finished just to get my check. I ordered a salad & a coke & waited about 1.5 hours.
I was starving, I ordered the Caesar Salade, but it was unbeatable. I wonder why a cook or a manger would serve such a thing. The service however was good. My waitress was kind, attentive a sorry that the food was not to satisfaction.
I've been to Hurley's YUL on a few occasions. On the last two occasions, however, I left after being seated for 15 minutes without a waiter or bartender ever coming to see me to take my order. Totally unacceptable. The service is very poor & barely merits one star. All of their staff looks disgruntled. The food is overpriced for the quality that they serve you. You're better off at Archibald if you simply want to enjoy a good beer before your flight.
Nice pub with a cool view to the planes outside. The ratio value for money in food is not that good though. We ordered some chicken wings (8 came in total), with two pints of beer & paid $70. The service is great! Helpful & friendly staff
