Amazing experience. One of my best in Montreal. Halibut was perfectly cooked. Baked oysters were perfection. French cuisine with Japanese infusion. The drinks were refreshing & just right. I ate at the bar & the bartender & other guests were fun & inviting. & the sunset was breathtaking. I will def go back.

One of the worst experiences I ever had! My wife & i came from another province to try this place since it was our honeymoon. As person working in the industry for over 5 years i never saw a wait time like the one i had in Hiatus. Im not gonna ignore how our server was amazing & perfect & thats the reason im giving 2 stars not 1, but the wait time was horrible my reservation was at 8:15 we ordered 2 drinks they came in 15 minutes then we ordered the tasting menu first & second meals came in 20 minutes at 8:55 than we waited for 40 minutes to get the third one in the mean time one of the servers came (not our server) to ask if we want another round of drinks even this one took over 20 mins the reason was rush while i didn't see anyone coming to the restaurant & when we asked where is our food they brought the third tasting its was 9:30 we ate for 5 minutes & we ended up leaving by 10 or 9:50 because the fourth & the fifth meals didn't came & our server told us they put our bill in the front so it goes faster, my question the tickets doesn't go by order? Or what kind of restaurant is that ? U have a good view but ur kitchen is 0 so unprofessional

We celebrated my mom's birthday at Hiatus, & it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was elegant & welcoming, with breathtaking sunset views over Montreal that were truly unbelievable.

The food was exceptional - every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, & felt like a Michelin-level dining experience. The attention to detail, quality of ingredients, & creativity behind each plate were outstanding.

Beyond the incredible cuisine, the service helped make the evening special. The staff were attentive, professional, & made our celebration feel genuinely memorable.

Hiatus offers the perfect combination of spectacular views, refined cuisine, & a sophisticated atmosphere. It was the ideal place to celebrate such an important occasion, & we look forward to returning.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special night out in Montreal.

Nous avons offert un 5 services à nos parents pour des événements bien spéciaux & notamment leur 40 ans de vie commune.

Le service était excellent. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle & je n'ai pas les mots pour décrire le bonheur de mes parents & l'émerveillement dans leurs yeux après avoir profiter de ce moment à deux.

The service was impeccable, very attentive & well mannered staff, with a charming & peaceful ambiance & of course a beautiful view of the city. I did not get a chance to order things from the menu but the cocktails were well balanced & refreshing. It was a beautiful experience, thanks in part to the hostess, Claude.

Très belle expérience au Hiatus ! Tout était excellent, de la nourriture à l'ambiance. Mention spéciale à notre serveuse Jessica, qui a été absolument formidable & a rendu la soirée encore plus agréable. Je reviendrai avec plaisir !
