I tried the Le Florentine breakfast dish at Greenspot & it was absolutely delicious! This twist on classic eggs Benedict features perfectly poached eggs on toasted English muffins, topped with creamy hollandaise sauce & fresh sautéed spinach. The eggs were cooked just right-silky yolks that oozed over the dish-& the spinach added a nice earthy flavor that balanced the richness of the hollandaise.
The side of crispy breakfast potatoes was seasoned well & complemented the dish perfectly. The portion was generous, leaving me fully satisfied without feeling overly stuffed. The coffee was fresh & robust, rounding out the meal nicely.
Service was quick & friendly, even during the busy breakfast rush. The cozy, casual atmosphere made it a great spot to start the day. If you're a fan of eggs Benedict or just looking for a hearty breakfast, Greenspot's is the spot.Voir plus

I heard about this place for a while & decided finally to give it a try. We were really hungry so we opted for the smoke meat & the pizza. Surprisingly ,the person in the phone didn't ask what cut for the Smoked Meat we wanted, the sandwich was ok, nonetheless. The pizza itself was a little bit too salty. Greenspot is an institution & the brunch always slaps. The vibes are great for a classic diner, & the service is usually very quick. The fruits are fresh & the service is friendly. Waffles recipe has changed & they are now sweet Belgian waffles (not to my preference but objectively delicious if you like those). Would recommend to anyone visiting Montreal, or any locals who haven't swung by in a while. You won't be disappointed!Voir plus

I took a friend there last night. He ordered spaghetti & meat sauce. He told me there was a lot more meat sauce than spaghetti. I mentioned it to the waiter, he offered to bring more spaghetti. He did & we said thank you. Lo & behold there's an extra charge on the bill.
The waiter did not mention there would be an extra charge, asked him to remove it. Came back, gave me the same bill. I asked to see the manager. He came over & suggested that my friend was lucky, that they probably put extra sauce so it only looked like not enough spaghetti. I informed him that I'm not paying extra, because the waiter never mentioned about extra charge. So after the blah blah, they removed the charge
Hey, I'm not saying that the customer is always right, but in this case I thought the situation was ridiculous. No desire to return to this joint. They have a lot of customers, so I guess they don't care if they turn some off every now & then with their pettiness.Voir plus

Great example of a local casse-croûte. The place is clean & more inviting than your typical late night food joint. Service is quick.
I can't comment on all their food, but their poutine is one of the best in town. Dark flavorful gravy, good cheese ratio, solid fries. The base poutine is solid, but the more loaded ones are where Greenspot shines.

Viande fumée qui fond dans la bouche & bonnes frites maison . Serveuses avenantes & décors d'antan vraiment sympathique & dépaysant ! La musique était un peu intense ce midi-là (forte & speedy) mais le gérant a accepté de baisser le son le temps que la séquence hard rock soit terminée!Voir plus

Dining here makes you feel like you're going back in time. Atmosphere was pleasant & service was good. I'm a Montrealer & I've tried many poutines & I was so disappointed by the poutine here. The gravy was way too dark & thick & the cheese wasn't even slightly melted. Never again. The sub however was excellent but I don't recommend their poutines.Voir plus
