Trois-étoiles pas plus quand il y a du filet mignon sur le menu & soudainement c'est remplacé par une bavette ( pour le même prix )& seulement trois protéines sur le menu ,assez ordinaire. Merci
When is St Sauveur going to get a decent Italian restaurant? We had planned on going to Mo's for New Years dinner. As we walked there we passed Gio's & walked in. To our surprise we got a table. We always wanted to try Gio's. We did & will NOT return. Great location, great look from the outside, nice staff inside. Food is awful. It has lots going for it but the food was frozen junk. My caesar salad had no taste & bacon bits. My onion soup was literally only onion soup until I paid extra for cheese & bread crumbs as they called it. My Keg frozen French onion soup at home is far better. Actually the soup tasted ok. I ordered lasagna. I have never eaten such a tight packed lasagna. The centre was frozen. What does that tell you? My bill which I could barley read (the ink must have been out of the machine), I had an extra charges for what the waitress called parmesan fondue which was more like a cold mozzarella stick, bread crumbs & cheese on my onion soup & the sad salad. The place has potential but the food is really sub par. By the way there were all kinds of open tables on New Years eve. We should have clued in. Good luck. Next place we will try will be Le Vieux Four.
We usually come in the summer so this was our first time in winter. Same excellent service as usual. The pasta dishes & pizzas are what my family loves. It was a bit tight between tables & restaurant was a bit chilly so maybe bring a warm top or shawl to cover up.

Very disappointing. Bolognese sauce was very sour & Napolitano sauce bland. Bolognese was so sour it was not consumed. Provided polite feedback. Server was very polite but owner or manager did not even offer anything to offset the experience. We asked for the bill & were charged full price. I politely mentioned this to server who was very nice but who s response was "I am not the owner". We paid & left, returned home after paying close to 100$ to sit in our dining room to have dinner. Looking back I should have insisted to see the owner. We recently moved to the region & discovered great places to eat. This one has been stricken off the list. I must say we have been spoiled with amazing Italian food so buyer beware.
Une belle découverte dans les Laurentides. Un petit restaurant italien avec un très bon menu. Excellent service dans une ambiance de maison chaleureuse. Pas de miracle du côté des prix, mais le restaurant est abordable par rapport à la moyenne des restaurants. Le demi-litre de vin maison rouge est parfait pour bien boire sans se ruiner.
Samedi 21 septembre. L'ambiance est très bonne, & le service excellent. Niveau repas, pour un souper un samedi, pas de choix de plats de moules disponible, alors que nous avions choisi Gio's pour cette spécialité. Par la suite le plat de lasagne était froid, remplacé sans aucun problème par un chaud. Pour ce qui est du plat de filet mignon, le filet mignon n'avais pas la tendreté normalement entendu. Donc déception niveau cuisine, rien d'exception comme première & possiblement dernière expérience.
Quoique je m'attendais à ce que la portion du veau soit petite, mais en plus il y avait plein de nerfs. Le service était exécrable. Nous avons eu une serveuse blonde-rousse avec des lunettes qui ne nous regardait jamais & pas moyen de lui faire un signe, elle passait tout droit. En plus, quand je lui au dit que le veau n'était pas bon, elle a eu une attitude tellement désagréable...aucun sens. J'ai quand même laissé un pourboire, mais je n'aurais pas dû...
Vraiment une magnifique terrasse à l'arrière... Petits repas & verres à petit prix le midi, ce fût très agréable... J'ai demandé du parmesan & du poivre à la serveuse & elle est venue me servir & a quitté aussitôt très rapidement sans jamais demander aux 2 autres personnes avec moi si elles étaient intéressées d'en avoir... Elle n'est revenue qu'à la fin du repas.... Service rapide mais impersonnel....
Très grande terrasse extérieure, section bar intérieur & salle à manger intérieure. Très bonne nourriture italienne & surtout à prix très raisonnable..enfin! Plusieurs choix au menu au midi à moins de 23.00$; entrée, plat principal, café & biscotti maison compris. Je n'ai pas vu cela depuis la pandémie. J'y retournerai certainement & je recommande fortement à tous. Félicitations au propriétaire & aux employés.
