We took ourselves to the new Gio's in St Sauveur. It was a lovely night out. The new building is great. I'm not a big fan of TV's in restaurants, especially one that's supposed to offer a culinary experience. It kills the ambience for me. But hey, that's totally personal, obviously.
Our multiple servers were lovely & welcoming. The food was relatively quick considering how busy it was. I took the pizza Frutti du Mare. It tasted wonderful… but I was surprised how small it was. It looked about an 8 inch pizza (for $30!?) But it was fully loaded & the taste did not disappoint.
I loved the old Gio's too but I do think they have evolved beautifully into the new vibe with this building. I would definitely recommend!!

Je suis une cliente assidue de Gio's Saint-Sauveur depuis de nombreuses années. Selon moi, le restaurant offre le meilleur rapport qualité/prix en ville. Le service chaleureux est impeccable. La vue à l'étage est la meilleure au village pour admirer les pistes de ski. Je vous recommande chaudement Gio's Saint-Sauveur !

When is St Sauveur going to get a decent Italian restaurant? We had planned on going to Mo's for New Years dinner. As we walked there we passed Gio's & walked in. To our surprise we got a table. We always wanted to try Gio's. We did & will NOT return. Great location, great look from the outside, nice staff inside. Food is awful. It has lots going for it but the food was frozen junk. My caesar salad had no taste & bacon bits. My onion soup was literally only onion soup until I paid extra for cheese & bread crumbs as they called it. My Keg frozen French onion soup at home is far better. Actually the soup tasted ok. I ordered lasagna. I have never eaten such a tight packed lasagna. The centre was frozen. What does that tell you? My bill which I could barley read (the ink must have been out of the machine), I had an extra charges for what the waitress called parmesan fondue which was more like a cold mozzarella stick, bread crumbs & cheese on my onion soup & the sad salad. The place has potential but the food is really sub par. By the way there were all kinds of open tables on New Years eve. We should have clued in. Good luck. Next place we will try will be Le Vieux Four.
Samedi 21 septembre. L'ambiance est très bonne, & le service excellent. Niveau repas, pour un souper un samedi, pas de choix de plats de moules disponible, alors que nous avions choisi Gio's pour cette spécialité. Par la suite le plat de lasagne était froid, remplacé sans aucun problème par un chaud. Pour ce qui est du plat de filet mignon, le filet mignon n'avais pas la tendreté normalement entendu. Donc déception niveau cuisine, rien d'exception comme première & possiblement dernière expérience.
Excellent service & food, & we really enjoyed the vibe of this place. Also, the team was friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful about gluten free dietary restrictions. Gio's does not offer gluten free pasta, pizza crust, or bread. But there were multiple entrees on the menu that could be modified to make them gluten free. I had the chicken florentine with mixed veggies & it was terrific, & had zero issues with cross contamination. We sat on the terrace, aka the front porch of the charming, historic home. Though the indoor seating & great patio out back (with a water feature) also looked inviting.
Jeudi 18 juillet 2024 - quel gaspillage d'argent ce midi, nous étions quatre pour le lunch, moules & frites froides, pizza ultra cuite & escargots comme du caoutchouc. Plus jamais GIOS à St-Sauveur.
Went to Gio's with my parents & wife during a ski trip. The quality of the food was very good, more then good great. We all ordered something different, the plates were nice presented, the taste was above expectation. The staff was friendly & helpful. The cost of this diner was more then reasonable, taking account of the quality of service & food. We will definitely go back.

Nous sommes des habitués de Gio's à St-Sauveur. Nous y venons deux fois par mois & nous n'avons que des bons mots pour la cuisine & le service. Surtout à la table ''23''.
Nice & cozy restaurant. Great quality Italian food. Good size portions. I liked the Gio salad more than the Cesar. They offer a choice of pasta noddles that are combined with different sauces. I had the penne with meat sauce. My wife & mother both had the linguine with Paesano sauce. All were very tasty. They have a good wine list with reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly & attentive. Free Parking in front of the restaurant or across the street in the public lot. We will return.
The quality of food & service was excellent. The wine selection & prices are good. The Gio salad is served with a very tasty dressing. I would recommend that salad over the Cesar. The pasta dishes are plentiful. I tried the Penne with meat sauce. The others had the Fettuccine with the Paesano sauce. Both tasted wonderful. The ambiance is nice & our server was professional & attentive. We will return again.

Je suis allée pour le souper. FANTASTIQUE. Sabrina a été ma serveuse, 5* Elle était parfaite. C'est assuré lors de mon prochain voyage à St-Sauveur, Gio's est sur ma liste. Que dire de la cour intérieure, c'est LA place absolue, on se croirait dans un autre monde. J'ai tout simplement ADORÉ. Je serais votre meilleure ambassadrice ! ! !
This Restaurant is absolutely amazing!! The atmosphere is great, the staff is very friendly, the service is impeccable, & the food tastes great! Overall the experience is awesome & I'd definitely recommend Gio's to anyone who is looking for a lovely restaurant to dine in! :)
Simply amazing. The pasta was fresh & authentic Italian! You must try it with chicken. The service is excellent & the ambiance is perfect. I also had the best filet mignon. I cannot wait to return. Thank you Gio's
