I found the lasagna good not hot to my taste drinks are good it's a fast food restaurant lasagna done & heated up would of like it to be made & served hot

After a much anticipated wait - this place did not disappoint! We ordered the "Gino Lasagna" accompanied with some entrees & amuse bouche. Drinks were the "Latina" & they were all delicious. So much flavor packed into a beautiful square of lasagna. Our waiter "Alfred" was awesome! Very accommodating, polite & catered to our every need! Can't thank him enough & the owner for a wonderful night out & dining experience! I will be definitely be returning!

Vraiment très déçus. Souper de St-Valentin. Les drinks étaient corrects, les entrées très bonnes (excellents focaccia & burrata). Mais on a voulu prendre un peu de temps pour finir nos drinks alors j'ai demandé à faire amener un peu plus tard les lasagnes. C'était probablement une erreur car celle de mon conjoint est arrivé FROIDE. La mienne, chaude, mais la lasagne vegan, sans gluten, j'avais plus l'impression de manger un pâté végé chaud, sans texture à part qq tomates séchées & champignons. J'avais presque fini mon plat quand l'assiette de mon chum est arrivée pour la deuxième fois. On nous a dit que sa lasagne serait offerte gracieusement (ce qui était la moindre des choses considérant que j'avais presque fini la mienne - c'est pas l'esprit d'un souper en tête-à-tête disons haha) & surprise! La lasagne était TIÈDE !! Pas chaude, là. Pour un endroit qui n'a que trois plats principaux par soir, c'est vraiment inacceptable. Mon chum s'est forcé à finir sa lasagne car il avait faim. On est partis sans goûter aux desserts, & sincèrement, on reviendra pas les essayer.

Great & cute restaurant located on St Laurent boulevard. Service: exceptional service with attentive staff. Everyone was warm & welcoming. Reservations are recommended. Atmosphere: pretty hip, with a deco art vibe. Really sets up the ambience for comfort food. Food: food was delicious. The appetizers were the burrata & carpaccio salmon. The portions quite small, however, they were reasonably priced. The main dish was the Classic Lasagna. Was very good & great value for the price. Would love more variation in menu selection, such as different meats, pastas, & sauces that go into the lasagna. But simplicity is always appreciated. Drinks: The classic negroni was just that, classic. Overall a great date spot, with a funky & trendy vibe, & a value meal for comfort food. The service really elevates the place. A+

What a delightful rollercoaster of flavors & experiences! The bourbon Negroni was a masterpiece, a drink so well-balanced it's practically a work of art - kudos to the mixologist. Now, let's talk lasagna. It's like a journey, starting with the anticipation, a bit like waiting for a surprise party to kick off. The tomato sauce? A symphony of taste, but initially not quite warm enough - a minor hiccup, easily forgiven. & that elusive bechamel, playing hide & seek, leaving me longing for more creaminess. Yet, as I ventured further into the lasagna labyrinth, it unveiled its charms, becoming a rediscovered delight. Uniformity, oh sweet uniformity, where art thou? Despite the initial quirks, the end result won me over. Consider my expectations challenged, but not entirely disappointed. The ambiance at Gino's, however, is a winning charm. A perfect setting for intimate gatherings, it whispers of Italian minimalism in a sea of red. & that espresso, a solo performer, not an ensemble - surprising, but not unwelcome. I left with a caffeine-infused grin, contemplating my inevitable return. Looking forward to another rendezvous with Gino's Negroni & Lasagna! Cheers
