Had a great time & it was not overwhelmingly noisy either! We were able to eat peacefully & the food was delicious. Fried Chicken Waffle was sweet & savoury 😋 Definitely worth coming back!
The highlight of this place is no doubt the atmosphere. With it's high glass walls allowing in an abundance of daylight & the hanging decorative plants, the ambiance is quite well done here. Bright & peaceful vibe throughout the space. The menu is well-varied. I went for the chicken & waffles as this is a favored dish of mine & not too easy to find in Montreal. As the name suggests, this dish has two components - chicken & waffles. Now the waffle was amazing. It was large, fluffy & tasty. The chicken was good too, but I was disappointed that it was a cutlet. This dish is traditionally served with a piece of fried chicken, not a cutlet. This deviation greatly affected the outcome of the dish, the combination of the crunch of the fried chicken skin with the waffle is key & that was totally missing. At the price point I was surprised they took this shortcut. This is a more niche item on their menu however. As for the service, it was average. I probably would have been better off with another dish but overall still had a good impression of Gingko.

Delicious food & great service! Great ambience. The French toast was too sweet for our liking but still good if you like it sweet! Chicken & waffle was our favourite. Cappuccino was good too.

Bottomless mimosas for 25$ per person, need I say more?
Oh yes..chicken n waffles with slightly spicy honey. Game changer for brunch.

Our server admitted that she was new, so we understood that she may have been a bit nervous, but overall she provided good service.
We were 3 at our table & we each ordered waffles but only one meal came with syrup. My meal - the demi was fairly tasty but the description is misleading: it appears to be one whole waffle, one side with sweet toppings & the other side with savoury toppings. Instead, you only get half a waffle, with the sweet toppings.
The 'fried chicken & waffle' is in fact a whole waffle however this menu item should be renamed to 'frozen chicken burger on a waffle,' because that's what it was - it was definitely NOT fried chicken, & the restaurant provided a comp for our dissatisfaction.
Overall, wasn't a terrible experience; not sure I would return though.

I went to Ginkgo with a friend for early dinner. The interior is lovely, no doubt about it. Great windows, greenery, nice bar. The waiters for friendly, the service was fast. I had the greenhouse bowl with raw salmon on top. I loved the dressing & the fish was fresh. My friend had the chicken tacos & she liked her plate. I will go back during the daytime for a change & try their coffee & beer. Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced food,& friendly service.
