Globalement, Gigi est perçue comme une pizzeria de référence du West Island et la pizza est la vedette: pâte épaisse et croûte croustillante, sauce légère et fromage généreux avec des garnitures variées qui donnent des saveurs bien équilibrées. Le cadre est petit mais propre et chaleureux, avec une ambiance old school et un service souvent qualifié de chaleureux et attentif, idéal pour manger sur place ou emporter. Le rapport qualité prix est parfois remis en cause en raison de tarifs élevés, mais de nombreux avis considèrent que la pizza justifie le coût par sa qualité et sa constance, et certains soulignent que c est l'une des meilleures pizzas de Montréal. Des reproches ponctuels concernent des erreurs de cuisson ou des pizzas trop humides sous la croûte, des subs qui manquent de viande et une lasagne avec sauce viande jugée vraiment mauvaise; malgré ces quelques bémols, l'endroit demeure une adresse à tester pour ceux qui recherchent une pizza d'inspiration Montréal style, une expérience conviviale et la possibilité de livraison ou de commande pour emporter.
Pizza & steak sub were EXCELLENT. Freshly made & piping hot. Two young ladies were serving & managing the front, it was quite busy & they handled it really well & collaboratively. I took my order to go so I didn't stay to eat but the atmosphere is like a time warp back to the 80s, it's nostalgic, old school, small diner vibes.
Honestly Gigi really reminded me of the type of restaurants I would dine in with family when I was a child! The pizza was amazing & the Sub was really good! The service was impeccable I should have gotten our waitresses name because I dont remember the last time I got such amazing fast polite efficient service with a smile!!! I will definitely go back to this place. If youre feeling nostalgic its worth a visit. Its a really feel good place ❤?

Went with my wife & ordered 1 medium all dressed pizza & steak sub
I asked for the pizza well done
The pizza wasn't well done & full of mushrooms it was really bad
The steak sub was very tough not lean
I've always had a great experience but this was awful
All right they started delivery again. Thank God you know this pizza here. You just got to go back to to one of those types of pizzas that you need to go back to every once in awhile. It is that good? You do pay a lot. It's very expensive but it's very good so I would suggest going there. We'll try it out. They're on the Lakeshore right next to where the old pioneer used to be. It's worth the trip. You could take aut. 20 & get off at Cartier road & u turn right(West) & you'll see it there not far on your left. Once you turned right at the end of the road on the Lakeshore everything is good but definitely their pizza is their best item. Subs are not that full. Not much meat in them but the pizzas are really great so go try it out. Don't hesitate just order it or go get it but it's worth it. Stop procrastinating, go now, you're hungry. Someone you know is hungry so invite them to go with you could eat there can take it out & you can order in... what more can you ask for?

Very disappointed with tonight's dinner. I used to always order the Steak & Peperonni sub & I would always ask for the house salad dressing on the side, it was never an issue. But this time they told me I had to order the $10 salad to get the dressing… The salad was a small pathetic, iceberg lettuce, green peppers onions & tomato… I won't be ordering again.
Walking around Pointe-Claire Village, can make a girl real hungry.
Gigi Pizzaria has been on my'Need to Try' list for a few months. It was recommended by a few friends. I haven't gone earlier because parking can be a little tough.
We were greeted by a very friendly lady & seated immediately. For a Wednesday lunch it was quite busy. We were lucky there was a booth still available.
The menu is not extensive, but there are more that enough selections. Ranging from a small selection of spaghetti lasagna to a large selection of subs & pizzas.
We had pizza. A 10''Deluxe' to be exact. It was loaded with cheese, mushrooms, green peppers, pepperoni, bacon, & onions. Holy moly. The sauce was light so the flavors of the toppings was able to stand out.
Only downside was that it was a bit wet under the crust which was a bit underdone. I didn't say anything because it was ok. I'm just very picky. My friend had a single topping pizza, 1/2 pepperoni & 1/2 capicollo, & nit was dry & perfectly cooked. Sometimes, when there are too many toppings the tendency is to stay a little wet on the bottom. It takes a long time for the mushrooms & peppers to dry out.
When I go back? Absolutely.

been going since i was alittle kid the pizza never dissapoints :) also need to add that these are my favorite subs ever i order them all the time with salad dressing on the side
I've not been to Gigi's in quite some time, not being near Pointe Claire village often, but always happy with anything I've ever ordered from poutines to subs to those amazing pizzas. The experience is one that brings me back to when my grandfather & then uncle would bring me there after a haircut many many moons ago, nostalgic & good feeling. Even if I am a tad large for the booths, I don't mind remembering how it was back then & just enjoying the moment. The staff is friendly & welcoming, I enjoyed having a nice hot coffee while my pizzas were being made. When I got home, they were still nice & hot & I love that the new boxes stayed intact for the drive home (as mentioned not really close to PCV at all)
Keep up the great work, I will try to come by more often!!
Disappointed with their sub sauce, or lack of.
We confirmed the Gigis'special' sauce was like an Italian vinaigrette when it was JUST oil & salt. No vinegar, no spices. Just oil.
I had to whip up a quick vinaigrette with what I had but it did not hit the spot.
Will not be ordering again.

Beyond expectations, loved the food! I put 2 stars for ambiance because it's a small, local restaurant, order & leave, so no ambiance there. The rest is 5 stars, we appreciated the place, staff & food. My friend comes from far in Laval just for their food, especially for Superbowl. Pizza is really good, quality of ingredients & they are good slices. The submarines have a lot of meat & are really big portions. We're not talking about a fast food restaurant size, we are elsewhere at Gigi's... loved it!
It's unfair to every other restaurant how amazing Gigis is. I've been to dozens of pizza places in my life & none of them can come close. Consistently perfect food for the decades I've been going here. There is nothing that can be improved. Their pizzas have a generous amount of cheese & sauce, which are of high quality. The dough is also delicious & easy to chew. The reviews saying otherwise are false. Please never close down or change the receipes. Every other restaurant is sub par in comparison. Basically, Gigi's pizza is like the Rolls Royce of pizzas. P.S. They do take debit. They were cash only for the longest time but have recently added a debit machine.
This is our go-to restaurant for pizza or subs & has been for over 35 years. Over the years we've had a lot of pizza & Gigis is top notch. This is the true Quebec all dressed pizza with lots of cheese & the pepperoni, green pepper & mushrooms are layered & plentiful under the cheese! Thanks Gigi's for continuing to exceed our expectations!
Cash only; it's good they informed us that before we ordered. We ordered a cheese pizza & an all dressed submarine, both were delicious. The pizza dough was nice & chewy, generous cheese with nice tomato sauce. We were there on a Sunday at 12:30pm, not much wait time. Nice pleasant dining experience.
