It's the best one I've ever had. The drink has a perfect mix of orange & vanilla flavors that taste amazing together. It's a must-visit spot if you're in the area!
Been wanting for a while to see what the hype was all about & ended up being quite disappointed. We went around 1pm in the week service was not too long. We can't see the menu very well however.. the price was crazy 50$ plus tips for one hot dog trio & one burger trio... the only thing that was really good were the homemade fries in the poutine. Their famous drink mainly tastes like sugared juice not very vanilla.. maybe my expectations were too high. The big orange ball which is the building is truly the highlight but I don't think Ill be going again.
Tried the'orange' drink. Not sure what's in it but it was very nice & sweet.
The orange drink is really good! It is also cool to see the giant orange up close. It is huge!
Traditional fast food & Montreal's most famous orange drink (too sweet for my taste), it's a good place to enjoy
Nice food. The julep was not what I was expecting. I thought it was orange juice, but it's a sweet drink
Not sure how they did it, but the Orange drink triggered childhood memories of a Creamsicle with a wooden stick in it. The food is pricey, but is better than other fast food places. Service was fast AF too.
Bring lots of money 4 hot dogs fries & 2 drinks 60 plus dollars 💵
En français plus bas. First off, the place is historic, historically overpriced, & under flavoured. The orange juice is unique & okay, instead of a cola or some softdrink I'd rather this orange drink. Unfortunately that's it, pogo's (corn dogs for you Americans) are overpriced. Hotdogs are okay, nothing to cry home about, but also expensive. The burgers were a dissapointment, its basically a mcvalue burger patty, dry & unseasoned like a late drive-thru purchase with tomatoes, pre-shredded lettuce & pickles. Also overpriced. The time it took for my order to arrive, burger was cold. Update your ticket system to have numbers, or have a runner behind each cashier to fill bags. We looked at our food sit on the distribution table near ten minutes, as our cashier was overwhelmed. For a tourist attraction in a food capital like Montreal, I'm a bit ashamed ** Français** Tout d'abord, l'endroit est un lieu historique, & aujourd'hui historiquement trop cher.
Really cool drive in style eatery. They have ample seating with lots of benches around the orange. Not too much covered seating though. Their hot dogs were delicious with a nice buttery toasted & lots of toppings. Poutine was classic large squeaky cheese curds with nice crispy fries. Their orange drink was interesting reminiscent of orange julius but smoother & you can taste the pulp in it so it has real ingredients in it! Definitely a staple of montreal.
First time trying this place, & it was quite the experience. The julip has to be the best orange drink I've ever had-I'm dying to know their secret! The poutine was solid, but the fries alone could use a bit more salt. Overall, it's such a cool spot, & I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Montreal.
i love the drinks!! next time i come back im gonna definitely try the food but damn all these years passing by here & i never knew the drinks were that good!!
A Montreal iconic location we had our food outside on picnic tables great Orange Julep drink
Had julep for the first time when I visited Montreal. Got to know that it's a famous drink here Tastes like a combination of sugarcane & orange juice with little vanilla extract. Exact recipe is a well-kept secret
It's a bit expensive for what you get (~25$ per person), but the food is delicious & it's a nice treat for every once in awhile. The orange creamsicle drink cannot be beat! It's so good!
Mannnn this place is pure hype. You can find better poutine & a dog at costco..the drink is way too sweet. Combo is going to run you 23 bucks for what is basically Carnival food
Anyone who rates 5 stars should get their standards checked out. Service was quick with it but the food was just ok. It'll get you satisfied but will it tho? Because $26 for a chicken burger with fries & a drink is cray cray.
Great hospitality, Jasmine made us feel very welcome & helped us decide which meal she recommended. It was lovely, thanks & shout-out to her! Loved the orange drink which was very creamy, it is a must try!
My first time visiting & I loved it! Have never had anything like it before. It's very tasty & refreshing. Some say it's a tourist trap, but I personally loved it & would come back regardless. It is a little bit on the pricey side, but it's fun to go to & eat/drink.
