Very tasty & well presented food (we had the Gibby's salad & the cow-boy's steak for two). The espresso martinis were delicious, the service very attentive, professional & friendly & the vibe is very cozy.
The perfect place for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends or family!

My hubby & I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Gibbys. It was our first time & definitely not our last. The restaurant exuded a warm & intimate ambience, perfect for a date night. Our server Tammy was attentive, knowledgeable & friendly. All staff members were polite & welcoming. The food we had was delicious.. we had the lamb rack & filet mignon.. tender, & cooked to perfection. There was also valet service which is an added bonus. 100/10. Highly recommend.

Butter has changed..tastes like margarine...food quality changed..we're is the Old great staff???
New ownership killing what made this place great..too bad ..price increase is fine but quality of food is suffering

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Gibby's tonight. Our server, Sarah, was an absolute joy. Every single thing we ate was fabulous. The blue cheese wedge was so nostalgic I teared up, the pickles were perfection, the eggplant parm was fabulous & the cafe flambé was so much fun. We could've sat by the fire & listened to Sarah tell us stories all night. Next time we're in Montreal, we will absolutely be back, & I hope everything will be exactly the same. Thanks Gibby's, for a great girls' night.
The experience I had this evening at Gibbys was incredible. The atmosphere was very enjoyable, & the service was excellent. We had Genevieve as our waitress, who told us she had been working there for 35 years. She knew her stuff! She gave us her recommendations, & although I'm sure everything you could eat there was delicious, she made sure we had the best options. The food was perfect. Everything came out cooked well, & served hot. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. Would absolutely recommend.

They were amazing, their service & attentiveness was beyond great! One of the best places if not only place to eat.
But when I say Mourrad & Nancy were so attentive & always there when we needed anything it's under statement, I would come back just to be served by them.
If you have only one day to visit Montreal & want to experience an authentic, delicious meal in a historic setting with outstanding service, this is the place to go! A perfect blend of great food, ambiance, & hospitality!!
We had dinner at the wonderful old-school Montreal steakhouse & were truly impressed with the evening. It is very much a throwback to the old steakhouse style restaurants & they pull it off extremely well. Montrealers told us it was great but expensive & they were right on both.
