The food was exquisite. I had the 23$ Mac & Cheese to compare to the 2$ ones I make at home. Let me tell you, it was worth it. Service was nice. Atmosphere was a little annoying tho, sitting next to strangers isn't for everyone. Still had a great time. Highly recommend this place, just sit by the window if you don't like to interact with strangers.

Alexa has been very much welcoming, very knowledgeable. 5 stars is not good enough to say she gave us an amazing experience . The drink, the food & the dessert, everything was phenomenal.

Première expérience au Gibbys. Nous avons eu le plaisir d'avoir Allison pour notre expérience culinaire. Malgré l'âge de l'endroit le décor & le confort étaient optimaux. Nous avons tous les deux pris des morceaux de viandes & ils étaient cuits à notre satisfaction & étaient de très bonne qualité.
Tout était parfait mais je tiens à réitérer que ce qui les démarque c'est la qualité du service.

Gibby is one of the best steakhouse in Montreal, they offer high-quality meat cuts, the Rockefeller oysters, & my best dish there is the garlic snail, & when you take the bread & dip it into the garlic sauce. I highly recommend this place.
We came to Gibbys for a business social event with the party coming from outside Montreal. Gibbys was perfect for the occasion. Service was very good with no problems encountered.Gibbys is in the old town where parking is always a challenge, so we used public transport. The food was excellent but the portions are large so leave room when coming here. Anyway, the experience was very good. Make sure you book, if you plan to come here.
Great steakhouse. The food was delicious. The Beef Wellington was cooked perfectly. The only disappointment was service became super slow once the restaurant got very busy & the key lime pie was not super fresh.

My favorite Montreal Steakhouse! The ribeye boneless & filet mignon are awesome & so are their pickles & bread treats! Also get the wedge salad while you're at it :)
The atmosphere was electric. I met Dr. Wayne Gibbons himself. Everyone in the restaurant is so civil. Would definitely recommend going here, & listening to the Being Civil Podcast. Ask for Eolann'Gibby' Gibbons, the owner, & tell him Eoin Ryan sent you, he'll give you a free dessert!
45 minutes d'attente pour une surlonge de steak, la salade Gibbys est embarrassante… trop originale & sans saveur. Les prix sont ridicules pour le qualité du steak; sans goût & goûte le brûlé. L'accompagnement du steak est à désirer.
Ramener vos manteaux, il fait extrêmement froid dans le restaurant ! Pas chauffé
Côté positif: La soupe aux oignons gratinée est délicieuse & les employés sont superbes ! 😊
