The food was exquisite. I had the 23$ Mac & Cheese to compare to the 2$ ones I make at home. Let me tell you, it was worth it. Service was nice. Atmosphere was a little annoying tho, sitting next to strangers isn't for everyone. Still had a great time. Highly recommend this place, just sit by the window if you don't like to interact with strangers.

Gibby is one of the best steakhouse in Montreal, they offer high-quality meat cuts, the Rockefeller oysters, & my best dish there is the garlic snail, & when you take the bread & dip it into the garlic sauce. I highly recommend this place.

The atmosphere was electric. I met Dr. Wayne Gibbons himself. Everyone in the restaurant is so civil. Would definitely recommend going here, & listening to the Being Civil Podcast. Ask for Eolann'Gibby' Gibbons, the owner, & tell him Eoin Ryan sent you, he'll give you a free dessert!

My hubby & I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Gibbys. It was our first time & definitely not our last. The restaurant exuded a warm & intimate ambience, perfect for a date night. Our server Tammy was attentive, knowledgeable & friendly. All staff members were polite & welcoming. The food we had was delicious.. we had the lamb rack & filet mignon.. tender, & cooked to perfection. There was also valet service which is an added bonus. 100/10. Highly recommend.

The experience I had this evening at Gibbys was incredible. The atmosphere was very enjoyable, & the service was excellent. We had Genevieve as our waitress, who told us she had been working there for 35 years. She knew her stuff! She gave us her recommendations, & although I'm sure everything you could eat there was delicious, she made sure we had the best options. The food was perfect. Everything came out cooked well, & served hot. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. Would absolutely recommend.

Je recommande vraiment ce restaurant ! La nourriture était excellente & le vin également :) Notre serveur était très professionnel & attentif au moindre détail pour que notre diner se passe pour le mieux. Le point moins agréable est que le restaurant est un peu bruyant. Malgré tout si vous êtes de passage a Montréal je vous recommande vraiment cet endroit !

We started with the burrata, which was fresh & perfectly creamy, highly recommend! For the main course, the filet mignon & rack of lamb, both cooked to medium-rare, were cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable. We'll definitely return

Came here on a Saturday night at 5:30pm for dinner & it was honestly mediocre, especially for the price you are paying. The portions are quite large for a fine dining restaurant which I can appreciate however, some of the food was under seasoned & the oysters still had some of the shell pieces left. As for the service it was decent. But some of the servers often mixed up orders with different tables. So overall I would not recommend this spot based on the price for the dining experience. 7/10.
