Came for a special event & called a week to be seated at a table & not the bar. Come to the restaurant to tell me we would be seated at the bar. However the hostess was very great & she gave us a table when one opened which was greatly appreciated. The pad Thai & the stir fried rice were amazing but was disappointed by how long it took to arrive. Took almost 45 minutes to an hour to get our two dishes after ordering, but the food was good nonetheless. Overall a decent experience with a couple of unfortunate eventsVoir plus
The atmosphere was what made it great. The food was typical yummy thai food. The bathroom was epic.Voir plus
The food was delicious, diverse, & filling but not at all in a "food coma" sort of way. Very well-balanced. The interior & the atmosphere were lovely, perfect for a date or night out with the gals! We had the Baa Mee Moo Soup, & the Thai Braised Beef Soup, which we both really enjoyed. We also had two of the Cold Thai Tea drinks, & they are 100% worth ordering alongside your meal.Voir plus
Le menu Vegan est surprenant, je vous conseil vraiment d'essayer le riz frit & leur pas thaï. La saveur est unique & surprenante. Le dessert que j'ai le plus aimé c'est la mange au riz glutineux 😍Voir plus
This place was a little hidden. Hip interior, & friendly/attentive staff. I was very impressed with the food. One of my favourite things was that they used plates & bowls similar to what they'd use in Thailand. There were some interesting dishes that I don't usually see at other Thai restaurants & everything was super delicious. Very happy with my experience here!Voir plus
🥰 I tried Thai Ayutthaya boat noodles. It was really nice & very authentic. Too bad the noodles were way overcooked. All in all, I will come back to dine again. 🥰Voir plus
excellent thai food & ambience. But make sure you pay attention to spice levelsVoir plus
We really enjoyed all of the food, pad thai & the tom yum were delicious. However, we were seated by a member of the waitstaff & then forgotten about. We were a table of 4 girls right beside the bar & weren't approached about drinks or menus for around 10-15 minutes. When we did receive menus, the bartender apologized for the fact that were got neglected (her words). We said we understood. We then placed our orders for drinks & food. Everything came promptly but after we received the dishes, we did not see another member of the staff until we had to directly ask for the bills. We did not get checked on, were not offered the opportunity to order more drinks, & were not asked about the dessert menu. I had made reservations for 5 ahead of time with the message letting them know it was a special girls night out. Very unhappy with the service we received, will not be back & would not recommend.
Overall, food & ambiance were amazing, service absolutely sucked.
The food was good but not exeptional. They recommended Wagyu Pad Thai so we tried it but the beef was not tender enough or tasted differently for the extra price. Definitely not the best Thai restaurant in Montreal. The place has a very chic & cool vibe though & you can get some instragramable pics ;)Voir plus
Great Thai option. Simple, classic dishes. Venue itself is beautiful: atrium makes for a good atmosphere.Voir plus
Was excited to visit Garden Room on vacation! Had a wonderful time at the upscale Thai restaurant. We didn't have a reservation, but they were able to seat us for a bit under an hour & a half before the next group came in. Had read some reviews about a small portion size for the price, but we found it reasonable! Had the Baa Mee Moo, Vegan Fried Rice, Dried Noodle with Braised Beef, Tom Yum, Thai Iced Coffee with Condensed Milk, & Tapioca. The tom yum wasn't overly spicy which was fine for us, & colourful to the eye. Loved the fried rice! I only wish the vegetables (cauliflower & broccoli in particular) were a tad softer & cooked for longer as they were cut in larger florets, which made it harder to eat.
Mango is not in season so we couldn't order the sticky rice, & had the tapioca instead. It was delicious! Helpful service as well, & a dim lit stunning dining space.Voir plus
*** Come again to La Garden room , the second time in a month, fall in love with the soup noodles ! At the end of the meal, add a bowl of Thai steam rice, & have a mouthful after it has absorbed enough soup, spicy & happy, too satisfied!
Impeccable!
Put it on your top list!Voir plus
Cute atmosphere
Food was ok - pad Thai was very sweet almost as if sugar or plum sauce was added to it
Service was horrible - waitress walked away as I was speaking to her. She also never took half the tables order 😅
Overall, I do not recommend

Alright let’s do this.
First of all, if you come here expecting to have your money worth quantity wise, then don’t. It is obviously one of those places where you pay mostly for the atmosphere/location rather than the food.
For example, pad thai is 19$ but the portion is small(quite literally kid sized). It’s +2$ if you switch the chicken for shrimp & +5$ if you take both chicken & shrimp (what i had). So for one small plate, it came out to ~28$. Worth it? You decide.
It tasted good bit too salty to MY taste. I gave 3 stars for the food because it wasn’t a 4 but there’s no 3.5.
The place is quite small too. What you see on the official picture is basically it cause right behind the picture, it’s the entrance door. If you want to secure a table, make a reservation (minimum 5 to make one).
Service is fine. I guess it depends on your expectations. 3.5 stars for me.
Atmosphere is 5 stars. Design of the restaurant is really nice with all the see through windows on the ceilings. It’s a good view during the day & good atmosphere at night.
As always, go try it yourself to have your own experience/opinion.

Excellent food but the pad Thai portions were kid sized.

Food was good. Like the Thai Hainan steamed chicken with rice the most.Voir plus
We had high expectations given our amazing experience at Pamika, but were a bit disappointed when we learned that our favorite dessert was not available, as well as 2 of the the 5 available cocktails. We expected a more extensive list of drinks.
The food was really good!
The presentation of the Thai iced tea was really fancy for a beverage that is simple & already great in its simplicity. While the tapioca dessert was simply presented in a plastic cup as if it had been prepared elsewhere & bought in to the restaurant. A bit of disconnect in there.
Thank you!
