It's a good 4 star. I walked by many times but missed them all the time.
Finally I was about to try their pancake.
It's fluffy, not too sweet, spongy texture, the coco powder on top & the sauce on the side. It's heavenly.
It's a special occasion. So I went to have dessert. Not a bad choice at all
They are just like many take out restaurants. You pick up your order from the kitchen counter & sit down & eat.
It is a good experience. I think this restaurant would serve youngsters well. The price point is bit on high average. If you just had a nice dinner & have room, this is a place for you.
Will I come back again? Yes if I walk by. I would not drive here just for the pancake.
They are other things on the menu too. I think selling Labubu on the side make the place looks cheap

Enjoyed the Hojicha latte from here quite a bit! Had that richer, sweeter flavor that I was looking for after a heavier lunch. Surprisingly nice place to study/do work as well - wifi is solid, relatively quiet, & who doesn't love the smell of desserts wafting around them?

The staff at Fuwa Fuwa were very friendly & our food came out relatively quickly, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.
I ordered the Blueberry & Cheese pancake, but there was no cheese to be found-none in the filling, none on top-nothing. The pancake itself was soggy, & the scoop of sweet vanilla ice cream on the side clashed with the flavor profile I expected when I chose that option.
I also ordered some tea to help with digestion, which cost $4. For that price, I was expecting loose-leaf or at least something more premium-but instead received a basic Twinnings tea bag. & it was barely warm. Disappointing.
On top of that, there was a lot of confusion with the group buzzers, which added unnecessary frustration to the experience.
All in all, I wouldn't come back. Friendly service isn't enough to make up for the underwhelming food & overall lack of value.

Honestly it's overpriced as shit :/ & I wasn't impressed by the taste : it's not bad by any means, but not good either : the crème brûlée one was pretty flavorless but texture was good but for 20$ I'd rather actually like it. The three blueberries were to kill me 😭it's just not worth it ! But their rose strawberry tea is very nice (I'm a huge rose fan & I can't find any in Montreal so big win, but it's quite sweet so I usueallt let the ice melt a bit )

Great selection of sweet & savory pancakes. We had the tiramisu , pain perdue with a cappuccino & an iced matcha espresso with was fantastic. Everything was made to order & everything was fresh. Great service from the staff. I would definitely be going back & recommend it to friends & family

Great place for jiggly pancakes! We tried three different pancakes & all of them were delicious. We ordered a savory bacon one, the matcha tiramisu one (this was my favorite ☺?), & a blueberry sweet cheese one (the sweet cheese was sooo yummy!). All the pancakes had plenty of sauce & that was great & enjoyable. The staff was super friendly & attentive. The only little'but' that I could mention is that their hot tea menu is smaller than I would expect in a place like this, for example, they have the matcha pancake but not a hot matcha option. But that's super minor & we are definitely coming back. We are curious to try the other flavors!!

I was really excited to try the fluffy pancakes I've been seeing everywhere online & I was not disappointed. I tried the blueberry cheese one & it was delicious. Not too sweet just perfect. The staff took the time to explain the different pancakes & drinks they offer & advised us there is a 20 minute wait time since everything is made fresh. I will come back for sure to try the other flavors

Fluffy pancakes with the right amount of sweetness! The crème brûlée pancake was delicious! Thanks for the friendly staff explaning the different types of drinks they have! Waited for 20min but don't mind the wait time when I know its fresh & not processed. Will go back to try other desserts & drinks!

The food itself is exceptional, with fresh creams & fruits that truly elevate dishes like the fluffy fruit pancakes. It's a great spot for students to study while enjoying delicious iced teas & light meals. Their pancakes are especially impressive-fluffy & topped with a variety of both sweet & savory options. The croffles are also a must-try, offering crispy perfection with diverse toppings. I love the bacon croffle as a light, savoury breakfast/ brunch option!
Conveniently located near Place d'Armes metro, it's easy to access without a car, though paid street parking is available. With its inviting atmosphere, attentive staff, & wide variety of drinks & treats, this place has easily become a Chinatown favorite. I can't wait to return & explore more of their menu!

The best fluffy pancakes in town! I ordered the tiramisu fluffy pancakes with chocolate sauce (to die for!) & the 2nd time I got the croffle (croissant & waffle) with salad, delicious! I definitely recommend to try Fuwa Fuwa, the staff is super sweet, you won't be disappointed!

The friendly & attentive staff, along with the welcoming atmosphere & beautiful decor, create a great first impression. The pancakes are light & fluffy, with plenty of delicious options-from savoury eggs Benedict to sweet Oreo. They also offer crispy croffles with both sweet & savoury toppings, plus a great variety of drinks. I can't wait to try more! This place is definitely a Chinatown favorite.
