Average food. Tried their chicken & beef fried rice. The chicken was quite bland & the beef tasted like it was just fat & no meat.
Food - 5/5 - My partner & I ordered an array of dishes & everything was served Fresh & hot. Good value for the large portions you get. Food was delicious & hot the spot.
Service - 5/5 - Was promptly seated during the end of dinner rush. We got our food quickly. They helped us pack up the left overs & even provided plastic bags to wrap the containers so they don't leave, plus a small reusable bag to carry out multiple containers. Tea was provided. My partner, being of Chinese decent, was welcomed & asked if he spoke mandarin & the employees (maybe owner or related to owner) spoke with him.
Atmosphere - 4/5 - It isn't the fanciest place nor does it have much for decor but it has the vibe of a good Chinese restaurant.
Overall - 5/5 - I thoroughly enjoyed their food & service. Conveniently located in the heart of Chinatown & close to bus stops. I recommend giving them a visit if you are in Montreal & craving a good Chinese meal. With an expansive menu there should be items for all to enjoy.
We were the only ones in the restaurant at 8pm on a Wednesday but that meant we had amazing service.
Food was fresh & hot & yummy. Really yummy wonton & they serve it to you at the table. The wonton is shrimp & pork.
The spring rolls (they don't have egg rolls) are delectable. They're not chopped cabbage they are shredded cabbage & mushrooms & they're so yummy.
Definitely recommend!
First time here today in over 20 years. It's a nice little restaurant , we came around 3pm, so there was plenty of space. The waiter was very friendly & efficient. We ordered 4 meals for our family & it was delicious. We will probably be back.
La soupe 🍜 aigre piquante est excellente! Miam….
One of Montreals best Chinese restaurants. Owners are incredibly kind. BBQ pork rice is fantastic & the star of the show is the crispy salt & pepper pork. The pineapple chicken, calamari & Hunan dumplings are all great as well
Great place for real Chinese food. Portion is very generous. Will return for sure.
Nourriture incroyable, service rapide! Très authentique. Thé gratuit & délicieux!
Bon, pas chère. Meilleur resto chinois de Montréal, hands down!
Wonderful service, amazing food! Even the small portions are sizable, worth the money.
My wife & I were really in the mood for some good Chinese food & since we were already in downtown Montreal, we decided to walk over to Chinatown which has in my opinion the best Chinese restaurants in Montreal. We chose a real, "Old School" restaurant named Fung Shing on Boul. Saint-Laurent which has been around since 1976. The interior reminded me of when my parents took me to Chinese restaurants as a kid. Great memories! We selected from the menu, Hunan Dumplings, Lemon Chicken, Beef with Ginger & Pineapple & Stir Fried Vegetables, & let me tell you we experienced an explosion of flavours from each of these dishes. The portions were extremely large & we could not finish all of our food. The restaurant packaged it up for us to takeout so that we could bring it home & enjoy this absolutely delicious food once again.
A real find of a restaurant Very good well prepared meals as authentic as it gets Impressed with their fast efficient service which was welcoming as well It is a fairly nice decorated additionally with rich consistent wood paneling & matching wallpaper giving a nice atmosphere to dine Recommend this place Worth a visit !!!!
Service ultra rapide !
