The smash burger barely had any meat in it. It's a shame how there menu degraded this muchView more

Rien à redire pour cet endroit nous y sommes allé pour mtl à table, un des meilleur pour le moment. Seul point noir sur l'heure de réservation pour mtl à table qui semble un peu tardView more
Food was yummy, service ok. They still force to use my phone for menu. P.S. response. You saving paper, is like hotels acting like they care about the environment by asking to reuse towels. When you go to a fancy restaurant, mean that you want to avoid the phone.View more

I've been to Foiegwa before for a lovely brunch & so had high expectations - was disappointed tonight. The server first tried to put us at a tiny wee table mid aisle with awkward wooden chairs - too small for me & my son is 6ft tall - when it was almost empty. I asked to sit by the window along the padded bench which was completely open with 6 sets of free tables, & she said yes - odd that she sat us at the worst table. Still, friendly & brisk staff (8/10). I actually liked that one of the servers spoke exclusively French even though I was replying in English. Went for'MTL a table' which is great to try out menu sets - it helps me decide restos to visit for the rest of the year. My shrimp cocktail was 5 defrosted shrimp, served with minced greens/onions on top of Ketchup, ick - I'd expected a cocktail or rosemarie sauce (2/10). My teen's mushroom soup was delicious, nicely plated & the best thing we tried (8/10). The scallop risotto was creamy but only three scallops (about the size of a quarter) (6/10). I had the tiny half cornish hen topped with green beans, swimming in broth, but it was very dry (4/10). Had to ask for a spoon for the broth. My chocolate mousse was grainy, served in a wee ramekin with a thick hard almond cookie'lid' that was def not a'tuile' (2/10). The lovely server exchanged it for the panna cotta, topped with sweetened berries (thawed, not fresh) & a crunchy granola (7/10). As other reviewers have pointed out, portion sizes are small, & my teen left hungry. Based on this meal I would not go back for dinner, though I think it'd be fine for a glass of wine as I like the atmosphere & staff is attentive.View more
Delicious food & fantastic service, very busy so make sure you make reservationsView more
Amazing place. I am not disappointed! They let us order the tasting menu for just 1 guest which gave my mom the opportunity to order another dish for us to try & share. This business is ethical & mindful of their guests & we were taken care of by all staff member. I believe this venue pools their tips amongst staff members because it was obvious that all of them paid attention to each guest & would help each other out to look after guests & I appreciate that. We can feel it through the attentive care & quality of service. The bill came out at $75 for 2 people who ate until near explosion. This was a very very worthy meal. We tried the chicken liver mousse, foie gras au torchon, truffle spaghetti & the escargots. Escargots could use a bit more flavour. The other dishes were amazing. Jeremy & Sarah provided amazing service, so thank you. Will be back again!View more
I recommend this if you want to eat cold, chewy waffles that are already made. Can you tell from my pancake pictures? They are so dry that they look like they were baked yesterday & not even reheated.View more
We were recommended this restaurant from a coworker for our girls weekend away. From the very start the staff were 10 out of 10! Very kind, professional & got us a great spot. The vibe in the small Cafe was so lovely woth great pictures & music. The drinks were amazing! Great selection of alcohol beverages & BEST part.... no children. This explained the high end experience & flavor in the food. The chef was accommodating for changes to the menu. The truffle eggs Benedict, duck confit egg Benedict & chicken & waffles were insane! Can't recommend this location enough. We went at 1030am & had no problem getting a table for 5 though it was full but when we left, the entire corner sidewalk was filled with waiting people. No reservations.View more
Came here with five people, got a great both, we don't speak any French & the service was phenomenal. The drinks were fantastic - we had cappuccino, espresso martini & had mimosa for the table. The food was unbelievable, we had a few different eggs Benedict, croque madame & chicken & waffles. The truffle hollandaise is to die for, & the fois gras torchon was perfect. The vibes here are also very cool, & everyone in your party has to be over 18 to dine.View more
