The evening dinner menu was so worth it. Pasta is 10/10!View more
Stupendous cocktails to start! The food was delicious as well. We shared a dozen oysters, white asparagus, magret with foie gras & the spaghetti. The oysters were perfectly shucked, sweet & briny. A bit of grated horseradish would have been a nice addition to the mignonette & hot sauce options. The white asparagus with clarified butter, capers & toasted croutons was absolutely delicious. However, the stalks were a bit thin & because of that, more of the tougher end was included making it a bit hard to cut & stringy...otherwise food would be solidly 5 star. The duck was delicious, nicely medium rare & the foie gras was melt in your mouth. The demi was delicious & went well with the potatoes. The truffled pasta was simple but not over powered with truffle oil & reminiscent of stringozzi con tartufo from our recent trip to Umbria. A vegetable side dish other than salad would be nice to add (beans, broccoli?)View more
I love getting a bar seat to be served by Chloe, she's a gem 🌟 The truffle pasta & the caesar salad are perfect, def one of my favorite cozy spots in mtlView more
This was a really good restaurant. We tried the late night tasting menu & got the mushroom velouté (soup), smash burger & truffle pasta. The truffle pasta was the highlight of the meal really creamy & you could really taste the truffle. The smash burger was also good but I would say the bechamel fries were really good as well. The velouté was also really good & a great starter, personally it looked tastier than the chicken liver. Overall this is a great place for a date & the place is cozy & nice. The 25$ tasting menu is absolutely worth itView more
Overrated for the price. The portions were small & over priced. We left hungry & the flavours weren't great. Again, for the price we were hoping for more. For example, the pasta is $30 for such a small amount. We were fine with having a 2 hour time limit but the food took a while to come out & then we got dessert but they forgot about the sparkler for my friends birthday so they had to come out with a piece of bread with a sparkler in it. Then before we were done eating they told us our time was up & we had to leave. It just felt rushed & disingenuous as an experience.View more
* Cute little place, great vibe. * Service is super-friendly, but somewhat chaotic & disorganized. * Food is a hit or miss: Some dishes superb (the braised beef was heavenly), & some very mediocre & subpar (the Foie Gras pasta was starchy & hugely undercooked, the Crêpes Suzette was crude & drenched in Cointreau).View more
This place is overrated. We went there for the 3 courses for 25$ & the food portions were not only very small, but it was also very mid. We were excited about the truffle spaghetti & honestly the pasta tasted like the buldack carbonara one. It tasted cheap & not worth the price. It's a very small place, very crowded but it has a charm, sadly not as amazing as it was advertised on TikTok. :( I'm glad we had the chicken liver. It saved the night.View more
We ordered one of their most famous dishes which is the truffle cream pasta. The dish was flavorful & well-prepared, but the portion size was rather small, especially given the higher price point. On the bright side, the service was pleasant & attentive. Additionally, their cocktails were a highlight-there were plenty of options, & the ones we tried were excellent. ( Europe trip) Overall, it's a good spot for a flavorful meal & great drinks, though a bit on the expensive side for the portions served.View more
Atmosphere is great. Service is good. Order of chicken mouse, pasta, oysters, Food review: Late night menu, Yo not gonna lie that truffle pasta had a certain acidity that brought me back to a flavour of p*****. Not bad p***** right. Acidity over all plates got us bad, the apple sauce & pasta. P* taste. Fuggazi beer was nice. Pomegranate wine, I'd chose something else. Bad luck?View more
Better than Bouillon Bilk, at least in my opinion. This place scored higher on both quality & value. The foie gras was generous & delicious, the truffle pasta could easily compete with what you'd find in the markets of Florence, & the scallop risotto was spot on. The staff provided exceptional service. Thanks Sara!View more
A restaurant with a classic space, imbued with European style & the diverse & sophisticated flavors of French cuisine. My sister & I chose the following dishes: - Beef Tartare (appetizer) ~ $21.75 - Escargot (appetizer) ~ $15.50 - Truffle Pasta (main) ~ $28.75 - Truffle Fries (sides) ~ $9.25 Escargot was truly a pleasant surprise - the delicate flavor made me remember it forever after enjoying this legendary dish from a thousand years ago. According to my research, this type of snail is a specialty on the menu of Portugal or the Catalan region in Spain. However, in France, snails have just developed & become a very popular dish. Snail shells have also been found at Volubilis, an archaeological site in Morocco. From there, people have learned about the origin of this snail species. Accordingly, snails have been on the menu in France as well as other countries since the Romans brought them as a favorite snack 2000 years ago. Snails have been a food since ancient Rome, gradually becoming popular over time & existing & developing until today. After spreading to France, they became popular, especially snail dishes originating from the Burgundy region. On the other hand, beef tartare is not to my & my sister's taste. It seems that my sister & I are not used to enjoying completely raw beef, but are more suitable for seafood tartares such as salmon or tuna. Anyway, this is a quite unique dish, you can try it to see if it suits your taste. About Foiegwa's famous handmade truffle pasta, I was impressed with the natural flavor of the mushrooms combined with the rich cooking cream to create a smooth, attractive texture. The highlight is the truffle paste - a classy spice that brings a distinctive & passionate aroma. The price does not include 15% VAT & 25% tip. The total bill is nearly $110 for 2 people, which is too cheap for me - a delicious French restaurant, suitable for casual dining; at this price range, I believe that Foiegwa is absolutely a great choice.View more
Delightful restaurant! Overall: 4.5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Truffle Pasta - 4.5/5 - I loved the flavours of the pasta & the egg was an awesome touch. Flavourful but not too strong or oily, was just right! Braised Beef - 4.5/5 - one of the softest beets I've ever eaten! It was so tasty & tender & both my friend & I really enjoyed it. Atmosphere - 5/5 loved the quaint look, the restaurant had so much character... wasn't just a typical restaurant. Service: 5/5 - everyone was friendly & helpful!View more
Had a meal set for 25. From salad to mains everything was delicious, I would say one of the best pasta I ever had. Highly recommended to go & try their foodView more
Loved this place. The after 9pm 3 course meal for $25 CAD was awesome. You can still get items off the regular menu, but don't pass on the 3 course one. Choice of fois grois/cucumber salad, hamburger/truffle pasta, & a dessert. I'd pass on the tuna tartare, but otherwise everything was great. Small, cozy, & very young (lots of college students) after 9pm. Reservations are a must for that special. Place holds only 42 people. Service was excellent tooView more
Just wow! My wife & I ate here for dinner. We ordered two of their signature dishes. The pasta with butter & black truffle oil, & the beef tartare. They were exceptional. We also ordered fries from the side menu, which were without a doubt the best fries we have ever eaten! We did not order the burger with foie gras, but that will be on the menu next time!!!View more
We got the late night 3 course meal for $25. The pasta was the best! But the other dishes were okay. Service was slow & the tables are too close together so it's hard to have privacy or room to get up & get in your seat.View more
Great dining experience! I had the 25$ 3 course menu (Sun-Thur, past 9pm) & everything was really tasty. The truffle pasta lived up to the hype for me. Also our waiter was super nice.View more
Good appetizers, highly recommend frog legs. Drinks were very good too, both taste & presentation-wise. Pasta felt very anticlimactic, wouldn't order again. Atmosphere of a diner, good if you like cozy. Prices are a bit high for the portion size IMOView more
I have been there 3-4 times for both brunch & dinner. The dishes are always great, BUT the drinks are outstanding!! You might feel a bit cramped up in busy night. Overall is a worthy place to try! P.S. The fried chicken with waffle & the black truffle pasta with egg yoke are my top reformations.View more
While the bartender & her drinks were excellent, the dining experience fell short. Despite not being picky, I found that every dish lacked flavor. We waited over an hour for a small portion of pasta, which simply wasn't good. Regrettably, this experience has led me to the decision not to return & I would suggest exploring other dining options.View more
Very charming. The food is very very rich. We got the 3 course meal for $25 deal (available Sunday-Thursday after 9pm) The truffle pasta was really good. The chicken liver was also very good. We didn't love everything else. Make a reservation at least a few days in advance. Great atmosphere for a group smaller than 4 people.View more
I honestly loved this place. Just maybe a few tweaks would it make it even better. For one...I know it's a brunch service but the portions could be a little bigger. My pasta for example was $28 & though very delightful & very flavorful, was really small for such a price. & the salad as well..I'm not a big guy but I'm a man. I need more than four forks full of arugula & greens. Overall experience was good for me & my date but honestly, I think she ordered what I should've 🤣View more
Best chicken waffle ever! So delicious! & the pasta was great, too.View more
My third time going to Foiegwa & I am never disappointed. A nice restaurant, fair pricing, delicious food & kind staff. I recommend the fries( they are a must have!!), the truffle pasta & any kind of cocktail. A small restaurant with a hopping ambiance make sure to reserve. Looking forward to trying the brunch!View more
No reservation brunch, staff was nice Good coffee, I didn't t like the bloody Caesar (too strong & lacking celery salt but appreciated the option to choose the alcohol paired with the cocktail) I ordered the truffle pasta, it was delicious & not overpowered but a bigger portion would have been appreciated. The croque mamie was good & generous, really enjoy the breakfast potatoes too. The butter croissant tasted a bit stale, like it was made from croissant the day before.. the jam & peanut butter made it sweeter & ok to eatView more
The place is super cute & cozy! The food is AMAZING!! Try the truffle pasta & parmesan fries.
Très bon resto avec un bon service. Leur fameux pasta à la truffle était au-delà de mes expectations. Je ne dirais malheureusement pas que l'ensemble de l'expérience était parfait, car la quantité de nourriture aurait pu être meilleure 🥺View more
