The service was very good. The staff is friendly! I took the croque madame & a matcha. They were very good!
My third time going to Foiegwa & I am never disappointed. A nice restaurant, fair pricing, delicious food & kind staff. I recommend the fries( they are a must have!!), the truffle pasta & any kind of cocktail. A small restaurant with a hopping ambiance make sure to reserve. Looking forward to trying the brunch!
No reservation brunch, staff was nice Good coffee, I didn't t like the bloody Caesar (too strong & lacking celery salt but appreciated the option to choose the alcohol paired with the cocktail) I ordered the truffle pasta, it was delicious & not overpowered but a bigger portion would have been appreciated. The croque mamie was good & generous, really enjoy the breakfast potatoes too. The butter croissant tasted a bit stale, like it was made from croissant the day before.. the jam & peanut butter made it sweeter & ok to eat

I am a loyal "brunch" customer on Saturdays/Sundays. I wanted to experiment with time required for a meal in the evening, as I usually eat out on Wednesday before attending choir rehearsal, which begins at 7:30. It will not be possible to fit a visit in then. I should also say that (& I don't believe this is unusual or unjustified) a meal in the evening costs about double what a brunch costs, &, for me, that is a bit pricey (unless I were there for a special occasion). Part of the greater price is a result of the fact that main dishes do not come with sides; one needs to order these separately. Perhaps a small quantity of carbohydrate could be offered, instead of having to order à-la-carte. I'm diabetic, & this is important for me.
Nevertheless, the food was very good, & there were several dishes on the menu that I would like to try at some point. When I come to the restaurant on my own, I sit at the bar, & usually read; I was worried that evening lighting would not be adequate, but happily found that this was not so, though it was still atmospheric & not intensely bright so as to offend your clientèle.
I don't believe I will become a regular evening customer, the way I am for brunch. But I will be back—& now have to visit your speakeasy!

Genuinely impressive.
The quality & preparation of the food was excellent. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked &, despite being literally covered in sauce, was still crispy; my one criticism here is that the meat itself could have been more flavorful but the sauce makes up for it. The bechamel fries were probably the best fries I have ever had. My girlfriend loved the burger. The chocolate mousse was perfect; rich & chocolatey. All of this speaks to the skill of the chef which is a rare find these days.
Service was excellent. Incredibly fast & friendly.
We will return for brunch with friends.

Went here for brunch with my wife. The service incredible. Had the weekend special (rotates every week) & she had the chakchuka. Both were unreal. It's a popular spot for a reason. I can't wait to go back
Sunday brunch with my friend was a delightful affair, albeit with a slight hiccup as we waited outside for around 20 minutes. It would have been convenient if the establishment accepted reservations to avoid the wait. Nonetheless, once seated, we indulged in a spread of delicious dishes. However, the experience was slightly cramped as the restaurant was not very spacious. Despite this, the fare leaned towards the heavier side, leaving us feeling pleasantly satisfied but perhaps a tad too full
Went for dinner, the food was okay but me & my partner both had massive stomach aches afterwards. It's known for breakfast/brunch so maybe try that.
Un délice ! L'ambiance est sympathique & le service très agréable. Le brunch est parfait ne ratez surtout pas les pancakes au bleuet un vrai délice !
We were lucky to have the last spot at brunch in a Saturday. The place is beautiful & the ambiance laid back. We had a hot alcoholic cocktail that warmed us on this cold day. I took the homemade spaghetti with truffle butter & Parmesan & it was delicious. I'd like to go back again & try their other supper offerings. Will definitely be back
Always an excellent brunch option! This is my third time & the food is always excellent. I tried their Croque Mamie with duck & it was delicious with the small taste of truffle. Service was great & we sat in a corner next to the window which is better than the tables in the middle that I find less convivial. We were sitting there last time. Just know that brunch has gotten expensive in Montréal & the price point does reflect that at Foiegwa. But still a must try brunch in the city!
I went here alone for brunch! Service is nice! I enjoyed chicken (on the waffle), it was so crispy & yummy ! It was amazing because the maple syrup was thick brown, but delicious ! (It was first time to see that type of maple syrup) Generally, everything is basic :)
The restaurant is quite small, & given it's a favourite brunch spot for many, its queues get ridiculously long on a good day. I recommend arranging your morning around it. The food itself is pricey, but delicious. The eggs Benedict & smoked salmon are excellent, as is the spaghetti. The atmosphere is good, not great, because of how cramped it feels unfortunately.
Lovely restaurant, staff were very nice. The brunch potatoes are delicious. The hollandaise was very thick... Perhaps just not my jam. It was almost a bit like mayonnaise. They have glutenfree bread available which is great & much appreciated.

The food was decent! I felt the vol au vent wasnt as flavourful as it could have been & for $29, I was expecting something a bit more than what it was.
The spaghetti was the star of the night. 10/10.
Our server forgot about our drinks & we had to wait over 1hr, after ordering, for our main meals which was stressful for a 2hr reservation block.
Overall would come back, but not for dinner. Brunch is where it's at!
It great brunch place :) I've been to here already 3times for brunch & every time meal & coffee were nice. I like the ambience (it's a small space & a bit noisy) One of the best brunch downtown!
