Figata se présente comme une adresse italienne chaleureuse et accessible, où les plats solides et généreux cohabitent avec une ambiance cosy et conviviale; le menu met en valeur des pâtes bien al dente et des sauces équilibrées, des antipasti simples et frais, et des desserts remarquables comme un tiramisu qui fait l'unanimité, le tout servi par un personnel attentif et sympathique qui rend l'expérience agréable sans être intrusif; l'ensemble fait l'unanimité sur la qualité globale, les portions généreuses et le bon rapport qualité prix, en particulier pour ceux qui cherchent une cuisine italienne authentique et rassurante à Montréal; des bémols apparaissent toutefois lorsque le service est débordé ou certains plats peuvent sembler plus salés ou moins bien assaisonnés, et quelques plats ont été jugés moins mémorables ou manquant d'une touche d'audace; malgré ces nuances, l'impression générale est celle d'une nouvelle pépite du quartier, fiable et réconfortante, qui donne envie de revenir pour tester d'autres plats et profiter de l'atmosphere et du service.
Absolute perfection. A fabulous meal, attentive staff, & luscious desserts, all in a cozy yet refined interior. I can't wait to be back. Don't skip the focaccia!
We started with the crudo, which was outstanding. Fresh, well-balanced, & finished with an oil that was smooth & quietly carried the whole dish without overpowering it.
For mains, we shared the Spaghetti Vongole-simple, delicate, & really well executed-along with a truffle & mushroom fettuccine that was rich without being too heavy. Everything tasted thoughtful & well-paced. We paired it with a white wine we unfortunately forgot the name of, but it was perfect in the moment, which feels more important.
By the time we finished, we were very full. Still, the lemon cake was too tempting to pass up, & we didn't regret it.
The atmosphere was immaculate-cozy & inviting, intimate without feeling quiet. We may have had the best table in the house, but the energy carried throughout the space. It's the kind of place where you get so absorbed in the conversation & food that you momentarily forget what (or who) else is around you.
The staff made the experience even better-attentive, genuinely helpful, & great with recommendations. We felt well taken care of from start to finish.
A great choice for a date night or any kind of celebration. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & would happily return.
Had a reservation at 5:30, but got seated beside a corner table, which wasn't a problem until the guests for the corner table arrived at 6:00. I had to move my chair , basically being side to side with the stranger on the next table so that the guests could get to their table, & if I didn't stay that way, the server basically couldn't even access that corner table to take their order & bring their food. There's cozy & then there's cramped. That being said, the food was good.
lovely little spot in a charming location, so cozy & homey, could've sat there all night! walked in with no reservation as a party of two, & they accommodated us with no issues. seems lucky cuz as we enjoyed our meal we watched as the restaurant filled up!
staff was welcoming & worked together like a well oiled machine. shout out to Tanawgis & Corey!! 💓💓
we started off with the lamb skewers 🫦, polpettes 😍 & the branzino crudo 🤤 which were allllll killers. shared the zozzona, & ended with.... one of each dessert LOL (tiramisu, lemon cake, cannoli). my favourite was the lemon cake 😍
drinks were awesome, food was delicious, service was incredible.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was outstanding-authentic, beautifully prepared, & bursting with flavor. Every dish tasted fresh & thoughtfully made, & you can truly tell they care about quality. The service was warm, attentive, & welcoming without being overbearing, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy & inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner.
Just tried Figata & it was amazing! The gnocchi was soft, flavorful, & perfectly cooked. Cozy vibe, friendly service, & great food all around. Definitely coming back! 🍝✨
