The general Tao is good, the sesame chicken is even better, & the chicken fried rice is nice. We prefer takout over eating in. The service is good, & you can byob (depanneur right next door if you want a beer with your meal). The ambiance is OK, the inside is a little run down. Parking is difficult at meal time hours, there simply isn't enough space for the strip mall.View more
Delicious & well priced food. Great menu choices. Nice relaxed atmosphere. I would definately come againView more
View more
View more

belle découverte ce soir ... apporté votre vin... bonne assiette généreuse & délicieuseView more
View more
Five people each ordered appetizer & main & split them. Hot & sour soup was almost tasteless. Other appetizers were okay. Sesame beef, General Tao were good. Two curries were short on meat.View more
View more
Very clean restaurant, nice decoration, bathrooms spotless & the service was outstanding.
Food taste amazing & fresh, price affordable. Our orders came all a the same time & hot.
Not too far from the 55e avenue if your work close to Lindsay, Francois Cuisson & Fairway.
Must say I am very disappointed with your establishment. Last night, Sunday, May 10th, we placed a delivery order & were told we would have to wait an hour plus pay a $5.00 premium. We agreed to both conditions. 15 minutes prior to order arriving, you called to say our food could not be delivered as you were too busy due to Mother’s Day. Too bad you waited 15 minutes before food arrived to tell us & then did not even offer us a promotion to make up the terrible service. I expected better service from such a good establishment.
Vraiment excellent!!!
Finally a decent Asian Restaurant in the West Island. I have eaten there 4 times in the last month & recommend their food highly. The décor is inherited from a prior restaurant & the ambiance just is OK . What is good is the Chinese cooking with a Thai flavoring in some of the dishes. The quality is consistently good, & we have always finished all the dishes or taken home the rest for lunch. I have visited many restaurants in Shanghai, Hong Kong, & Bangkok so I am experienced in eating the real thing. I still go to Montreal's Chinatown regularly ( especially for Chinese style Lobster with ginger & shallots ). The Emeraude de Bangkok offers the best Oriental food in the West Island. The prices are modest & they offer a good Lunch special.
Apparently the owner is the Chef, & that is good. The Emeraude de Bangkok is a welcome addition to the mostly boring & underwhelming fare offered in the West Island.
My husband & I have been it Emeraude de Bangkok many times & the food & the service are always excellent. Excellent value for the price. Well worth the drive.
The ambiance was great & the waitress was very kind. I recommend the pad thai, which was a large portion for the price. Another great dish was the tom yum soup. The restaurant was trendy & the decor was nice. Definitely a go-to spot for Thai food.
