We went to Ecstatic Restaurant for Suhoor & had a mixed experience.
It took 1 hour & 5 minutes to receive our plates, which is quite long - especially during Suhoor when timing is important. There were also a couple of mistakes with our order. We asked for multigrain bread but were served white bread instead, & the white bread was dry, almost as if it had been toasted & left aside. The potatoes on the plate seemed dry & not very fresh, & the sunny-side-up eggs looked like they may have been sitting before being served. I had the steak, which was okay, but overall the plate felt that it was put aside & lost it's freshness.
That said, Zainab, our waitress, was excellent - kind, professional, & clearly doing her best. She was the only waitress handling a full crowd, with just one chef & one bus girl supporting. The issue seemed to be understaffing rather than lack of effort. Because of her service, we still left an 18% tip.
Based on the food & wait time alone, this would have been a one-star experience. However, because of Zainab's service & attitude, I'm giving three stars.
This place has potential, but better staffing & kitchen coordination - especially during busy Suhoor nights - would make a big difference.

Wow! Une place de déjeunée qui vaut le détour! Le service était impeccable. Notre serveuse Ranya était super gentille avec un sourire sur la face. La nourriture était aussi bonne que beau
Such a great discovery. My husband & I were looking for a different brunch here in Montreal & we saw this new spot on TikTok & decided to give it a try. We loved this place, the service, the many menu options, the fact it's halal & that it's a big open space. The service with Zaynab was amazing & the food so delicious with great portions. We can't wait to bring our families & friends!!!
La gaufre & tout les accompagnements avec étaient succulent ! Les quantités sont très généreuses. La serveuse était trop gentille. & l'ambiance vraiment chouette, j'ai adoré la playlist !
Un lieu parfait pour un brunch ! Nous avons passé un excellent moment. Le café latte était à la température idéale & le milkshake à la fraise, absolument délicieux. Le service, assuré par Alfred & Leila, était très chaleureux & attentionné. L'ambiance est agréable & conviviale. Je recommande vivement de réserver votre table, cet endroit connaît un grand succès !
Je n'ai pas l'habitude de laisser des commentaires, mais le niveau de médiocrité du service de ce restaurant est difficile à battre. Des poils dans notre premier plat, qui a pris plus de 30 minutes à être remplacé; un autre plat avec des spécifications non respectées; & notre dernier plat n'était pas complet. Nous avons quitté après 1 h 15 d'attente sans rien manger. Honnêtement, si vous voulez passer un bon moment, n'y allez pas. À éviter fortement. (J'aurais aimé ne pas perdre mon temps, alors ne perdez pas le vôtre.) 🙂

Nous sommes allés brunché moi & mon mari pour la première fois ici, & franchement très décevant comme qualité du service & de la nourriture, pour le service mon plat salé est servi 30mn avant le plat sucré de mo mari en plus aux boissons qui sont arrivées a des temps différents avec les plats & meme entre moi & mon mari aussi, sans parlé des oeufs pochés qui ont été trop cuits & la sauce par dessus trop acide, les patates qui ont été cuites aussi a la friteuse tu sens le goût de l'huile avec 3 raisins visiblement pas lavés.
Parlant maintenant des pancake qui étaient tout simplement au goût du pain noyé dans un bain de sauce soit disant a la pistache mais en aucun cas ca sentait la pistache avec a peine une fraise en tranche.
Ayant déjà pris des brunch ailleurs je m'attendais a une qualité meilleure que ça vu la publicité autour de ce restau/brunch sur les réseaux sociaux.
I was very excited to try out this brunch place, unfortunately my party & I were extremely disappointed… not once did a waiter check up on us, no water was offered, menus were given to us after we asked (keep in mind that we had been sitting at our table for about 15-20 mins). We were being completely ignored & decided that we did not want to spend our entire time fighting to receive any sort of attention. It was a very disappointing experience, won't be coming back.

super découverte!! je suis tombée in love du hummus boeuf vraiment à tester. notre serveur alfred était très compréhensif de l'attente & venait s'assurer que tout allait bien , excellent service :) on a très bien manger, ambiance très cozy mais classy en même temps gros coup de coeur! on revient c'est sur :)
Ordered on uber & half the food was missing & what we did receive was not at all as pictured. Eggs Benedict supposed to come with English muffin but instead we received untoasted bread & tiny serving of potatoes & salad
Went for the first time. Might return. The place looks great. Service was ok. I gave 3 for food because some was great (soups) but some was disapointing (winter menu).
The eggs with pastrami was good but the out come was not as shown on picture & was over priced. 23$ for 3 eggs & 6 small slices of pastrami.... Oh sorry there was also some scalions.

The pain doré frenchstatic was very disappointing :( no mention of rose water on the menu but first bite was filled with rose taste. I hate that taste feels like eating soap. Never would have ordered if i had known. Thankfully it wasnt throughout so i was able to avoid the rose if i ddnt touch the toppings...!
Didnt return it, i hate wasting food. But i did inform the servor of my confusion as i did not feel like i had received what i ordered. Too many différences.
As for the meal itself. It was an odd overwhelming 6 inch thick slice of cold bread. I dont know about you but I've always had warm pain doré. I would have much prefered if they have sliced that in 3 & gave me a stack of actual french toast
It is served in a hot skillet but the ice cream on top & the fact that you have to go through 6 inches of bread before reaching the heat of the skillet didnt feel like i was eating pain doré at all.
The menu mentioned cinnamon caramel creamcheese & cookie crumble. I didnt taste or see any of that!
It did have generous blueberry compote & some ice cream.
We also had the manakeesh zaatar which was good.
I do not recommand the winter menu which i consider false advertisment
But I would recommand to try this restaurant. Had a good expérience overall.
Le menu hiver est très médiocre , il y a une grande différence entre les photos de ce menu & la réalité … c'est très cher vs la qualité & la quantité…je recommande pas ce menu d'hiver.
Par contre la soupe aux lentilles était bonne.

Excellente expérience chez Ecstatic! Tout était vraiment trop bon, la nourriture était délicieuse, bien présentée & pleine de saveurs. L'ambiance est super agréable, chaleureuse & relaxante, on s'y sent bien dès qu'on entre. Le service était aussi top. Franchement, tout était bon du début à la fin. Je recommande à 100 % & j'y retournerai sans hésiter!!! 🤍
The food & atmosphere was great food was incredible & the server zaynab was the best made us feel very comfortable & she had a great personality will definitely be back here
The food & service at Eggstatic was amazing! Our server Ranya was very attentive & knowledgeable about the menu. The steak & eggs dish was 10/10, this place is a must try! The biscoff pancakes was also the perfect sweet treat! Will definitely be back!
Cet endroit est formidable , le service est bon & l'ambiance est chaleureuse. J'ai adorée les pancake au tree léché c'était hyper non je recommande fortement, les Bénédicte au poulet croustillant aussi était incroyable ça vaut le prix . Parcontre ,J'ai moins aimer la gaufre au bleuets & chocolats mais je donne quand même un 5 étoiles car c'est une place qui mérite d'être visité .
