We visited on a Sunday without reservation & we were seated quickly which is greatly appreciated as the restaurant was full!
The service was amazing by Noor who came & checked on us & made sure that we had a great experience.
Then food was delicious & the menu diverse, there is basically a little bit of everything that you could want from different hummus to pancakes & waffles, omelettes, egg benedictines, croissant & dessert. Also a wide variety of drinks.
We will be coming back for sure to try everything else on the menu :)
Came in craving the pistachio fluffy pancake we once had in Mississauga location & WOW, their Montreal location delivered even better!!! Honestly, this place blew our expectations!! Nadim our server took one look at our pancake photo we had in Mississauga 2 years ago & said they'd top it… & they absolutely did!!! Incredible food, even better service. Huge thanks to Nadim, the Chef, & the whole team for such a warm, welcoming experience. No more Toronto trips this Montreal spot wins! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

Everything was great & amazing! WELL... Except for 2 things, their food might be amazing & all, but service was not great. I ordered a Belgian Waffle for my sister & a tripe leche pancake for myself. The orders took way too long, & when my sister's order actually came, it was just a plain waffle with maple syrup. My pancake took so much longer, & I was running out of patience, if your someone that can't wait, would not recommend.
Still I gave 5 stars because overall this place was amazing, decor, & definitely taste!

Came for lunch with some friends while visiting the city! We were seated immediately & served food quickly. Coffee refills given without asking. We are anglophone & the server was very kind & spoke english (Thanks Alfred!) :) Vibes are great here!
I had the pancakes tres leches, the pistachio topping made for excellent flavour! My sweet tooth was quenched!
Horrible experience - overpriced & poor quality.
It's very loud & I do not recommend they don't know how to cook eggs. Worst brunch in Montreal & super expensive. We have Waited one hour to be served & it was very poor.
Also very poor hygiene I have seen the waiter picking the ice cream that felt from a pancake & putting it back on it - disgusting
We arrived at 12:30 & were seated promptly, I don't usually leave negative reviews & often assume it's just an off day, but after reading other reviews, it seems this is an ongoing issue.
To start, we sat for about 15 minutes without water or menus, & my husband had to go ask for them twice for menus After finally receiving them, we reviewed the menu & placed our order as soon as our server returned, concerned it might take a while for them to come back again. We ordered coffee, milk for our son, & an iced matcha latte. The coffee & milk arrived after about 10 minutes , but the matcha latte never came - no milk or cream for coffee so my husband drank it black. & we didn't mention it, not wanting to add to their workload.
The biggest issue was the wait for food. We waited approximately 1 hour & 30 minutes. Our son's pancakes arrived at 1:47, about 10-15 minutes before the rest of the meals. When our food finally came, it was barely warm. After such a long wait, we expected hot, fresh dishes.
We also noticed that other tables who arrived well after us were receiving their food before us. However, even then, their entire table wasn't served at the same time.. only 2 out of 6 people received their meals while the others continued waiting. This showed that the issue wasn't just delays, but overall disorganization in how food was being prepared & served.
I ordered the fried chicken Benedict with spicy hot sauce on the side, which was missing & had to be requested afterward. Based on the temperature & overall quality, I would rate it around 6/10-the hash browns were barely warm. My other son ordered the Tomato Jacket, which didn't resemble what was described on the menu & was very disappointing 2/10 It didn't look appetizing at all. I felt really bad for him. My husband had the steak & eggs, which he said was just okay, around a 6.5/10.
When our food arrived, we didn't even have utensils.
Overall, the service felt very disorganized. We had a different server each time someone came to our table, & no one seemed to be assigned specific sections. There was very little communication or follow-up throughout our visit, which made the experience more frustrating.
It seems like a management issue rather than just a busy day. Some suggestions that could improve the experience:
• Assign servers to specific sections for better accountability
• Have basic items like water, menus, & utensils ready for quick service
• Consider adding QR codes at tables as a backup for menus
• Ensure better coordination in the kitchen so food is served together & hot
• Hire & train staff who are engaged & attentive to customers
I really wanted to like this place, especially as a halal brunch option, & I genuinely hope they succeed. Based on other reviews, this appears to be an ongoing problem. I'm not looking for a response-just for these issues to be addressed & improved.
Nous sommes allés brunché moi & mon mari pour la première fois ici, & franchement très décevant comme qualité du service & de la nourriture, pour le service mon plat salé est servi 30mn avant le plat sucré de mo mari en plus aux boissons qui sont arrivées a des temps différents avec les plats & meme entre moi & mon mari aussi, sans parlé des oeufs pochés qui ont été trop cuits & la sauce par dessus trop acide, les patates qui ont été cuites aussi a la friteuse tu sens le goût de l'huile avec 3 raisins visiblement pas lavés.
Parlant maintenant des pancake qui étaient tout simplement au goût du pain noyé dans un bain de sauce soit disant a la pistache mais en aucun cas ca sentait la pistache avec a peine une fraise en tranche.
Ayant déjà pris des brunch ailleurs je m'attendais a une qualité meilleure que ça vu la publicité autour de ce restau/brunch sur les réseaux sociaux.
The food & service at Eggstatic was amazing! Our server Ranya was very attentive & knowledgeable about the menu. The steak & eggs dish was 10/10, this place is a must try! The biscoff pancakes was also the perfect sweet treat! Will definitely be back!
Cet endroit est formidable , le service est bon & l'ambiance est chaleureuse. J'ai adorée les pancake au tree léché c'était hyper non je recommande fortement, les Bénédicte au poulet croustillant aussi était incroyable ça vaut le prix . Parcontre ,J'ai moins aimer la gaufre au bleuets & chocolats mais je donne quand même un 5 étoiles car c'est une place qui mérite d'être visité .
Eggstatic offers a calm & spacious atmosphere with plenty of seating. The staff is friendly, & the food is tasty with lots of options. Our only hiccup was that one friend's pancakes arrived after we had nearly finished our meals, but the waitress apologized for the delay. Overall, a very enjoyable visit.
I go with my partner to have brunch in celebration of my birthday. I heard good things about the place from all the TikToks, & for cultural reasons I rooted for this business.
Cue the disaster! We order 2 plates of food (pulled beef omelette & a sausage egg dish) & for dessert a nice stack of pancakes. We wait…& wait…& wait, we ask the waitress, & she does apologize for the delay & stresses that the place is busy. I appreciated her politeness, so we wait some more, something arrived finally. It was the pancakes, we received the sweet dish before the savoury :)
What can we do? We eat it because we are hungry & borderline frustrated at this point. We wait for a further duration of 45 MINUTES till we lose it & stress on receiving our dishes, to which the waitress apologizes -again- & offers to pack our dishes as takeaway once they are ready (what kinda solution is that?!)
The dishes arrive 10 minutes after that, & if I say that they were the most underwhelming dishes I have eaten in Montreal since my arrival to it I would not be exaggerating. Lukewarm food with medium portions & missing ingredients. We complain that my partner's dish (the sujuk/sausage & eggs) is missing crucial ingredients listed in its description, her dish is taken & it gets cancelled from the check (pretty standard procedure) but she is not offered a replacement (she leaves hungry).
To add insult to injury, we pay what I think is an exaggerated value & also asked to tip!
Although we had to wait a bit, the service was really nice. The food was amazing, their portions are honestly pretty big which is refreshing. The lotus pancakes were top tier. Happy with our visit!
