Half the sandwich was fatty. Asked for lean. The French fries were soggy. The waiter brought new hot soggy fries. The latkas were meh.
Used to come here as a kid around 1:00am on St Catherine st for a hot hamburger platter.
The food has just gone down hill.
The fact they were busy just says that people don't know what good smocked meat & fries are.

Absolutely delicious! I had the famous sandwich & it truly exceeded my expectations - the meat was so tender it literally melted in my mouth. Every bite was full of flavor, & the portion was generous. The experience totally worth it, especially if you're visiting Montreal & want to try something local & satisfying. *Highly recommended* - this place deserves the hype. *Must-try spot* if you love classic deli flavors done right!
Dunn's has the best smoked meat in town. (Add a slice of Swiss to change it up sometimes.)
Thankfully they never chase trends or change the vibe in there. Always a classic. Don't forget to tip your server, they live on those.
Great food, we had the Combo Special. Tasty & huge-we shared.
Reminded me a lot of typical Jewish delis in Cleveland & NYC.
We also had the strawberry cheesecake - out of sight delicious.
The beers- semi great selection, but they are reliable ones.
Very average experience. I honestly was expecting more from this spot, being so historic. They took several minutes to take our order. Food came pretty fast though.

I'm an Asian & I really like the food here, especially this fried rice. It's very close to the taste of my hometown. I'll come back again if I have the chance. Five stars.
