I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Dunn's Famous, & I can't recommend this place enough! From the moment we sat down, our waiter, Marvin, made the meal truly memorable. His service was nothing short of exceptional-friendly, attentive, & incredibly efficient. Marvin's warm & welcoming demeanor instantly put us at ease, making the entire experience feel personal & special.
Not only was Marvin quick to ensure our orders were taken & delivered promptly, but he also went above & beyond with his spot-on recommendation of the smoked meat sandwich (Reuben)
Let me tell you, it was a game-changer! The sandwich was perfectly prepared, with tender, flavorful smoked meat piled high, served with just the right balance of mustard & pickles. It's clear why Dunn's Famous is renowned for this dish-it was hands-down one of the best I've ever had.
If you don't know, you need to. Amazing Poutine! Some of Montreal's finest. If you haven't tried you need to. Make sure you get the smoked meat on top if you're not vegetarian.
Finally decided to give it a try & ordered the Dunn's famous poutine. Food is not bad, they open pretty late & the location is great. But the service is pretty none existent. After sitting down for 10 mins couldn't figure out who's our waiter/waitress & had to ask the host. Overall good as drunk food.
Our server Nelson offered us a great service despite the rush! We can see the years of experience that he has. We also enjoyed the restaurant's ambiance & music.
