Went on a Monday night around 8:00 PM. We were greeted at the door, & quickly taken to a booth (as requested). We each ordered a smoked meat plate.
There is a very varied menu from salads, poutine, smoked meat offerings, burgers etc.. In order to leave room for their famous Strawberry Cheesecake, we both chose to only eat half of the smoked meat plate. The background music is oldies, which is loud enough to hear, but not so loud that you cannot hear yourself talk. It was indeed a pleasant ending to a busy & tiring day. Service was very attentive, & our server, Christopher, went out of his way to accomodate our requests.
Smoked meat délicieux mais à ma dernière visite la viande du hamburger de ma conjointe n'était pas assez cuite.
La serveuse a essayé de me faire croire que c'était normal. Ma conjointe a perdu l'appétit.

Dunn's ne prétend pas être un temple de la haute gastronomie, mais ce restaurant excelle dans ce qu'il propose : un smoked meat savoureux & généreux, toujours à la hauteur des attentes. Chaque visite est une expérience agréable grâce à un service irréprochable. Le personnel, en particulier les serveuses, se distingue par sa gentillesse & son attention. Notre coup de coeur va sans conteste aux sandwichs, le smoked meat est tout simplement délicieux. Le medium bien équilibré : ni trop gras, ni trop sec, avec une texture fondante, un bon assaisonnement, & des saveurs. Une belle adresse qui mérite le détour sur la rive sud ! L'établissement lui-même est irréprochable : propre, accueillant & doté d'une ambiance conviviale qui donne envie de revenir. Pour ceux qui recherchent un repas simple, réconfortant & bien exécuté, Dunn's est un choix sûr & fiable pour un craving de smoked meat.
Tout simplement le meilleur smoked meat sur la rive sud. Pas le moins cher mais le meilleur. Il fond littéralement dans la bouche. & pour vraiment l'apprécier, on doit le commander medium ou medium-gras, pas maigre, sinon ce n'est vraiment pas aussi bon & tendre. J'ai modifié mon modifié mon avis quelques fois en y incluant des photos de mes nombreuses visites plus récentes.
