Fantastic experience with friends.
Generally speaking my Dijon burger is not enough Dijon mustard. The meat patty has the blood taste which I don't like. I normally have medium rare steak, however that blood taste from minced beef is not pleasant & especially it is a $40 burger.
However my friend has this Benedictine over fillet Mignon is very good.
The dessert is must have! We had the chocolate caramel croissant & the mouse rocher. The crispy croissant along with caramel is fantastic. the mouse rocher is a bit sweet, but perfect when matched with an Americano.
The waitress & waited are very polite
However the hostess are ok.
The dining area is a bit small which is crowded.
Will come back for amazing dessert!
I heard French exchange students were saying this place is very authentic, so I went to try their pastry. It's absolutely the best I've ever had, I especially loved their croissant & flan, simple & delicious. They also have another type of pastry with various fillings (e.g., caramel, pistachio, chocolate) also tastes great!
Very cute & cozy atmosphere, we went there for brunch & I ordered the "québécois" the meal was so bad that I was shocked, the eggs were dry, the fruits were not fresh. We then ordered oat lattés that were good, the croissant & chocolatine were also 3/10. Do not recommend at all.
Food is good but too expensive. 32$ for a ham & cheese croissant with a salad that looks like the leftovers of the kitchen, is that normal? Service is very good though.
Duc de Lorraine offers a delightful escape to France without ever leaving the city. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, with charming decor that instantly sets the mood for a Parisian experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the pastries. Their croissants are buttery, flaky perfection, & the selection of desserts is nothing short of exquisite. Pairing these with their rich, smooth coffee makes for a divine treat. Service is warm & attentive, adding to the overall experience. While prices are on the higher side, the quality & authenticity of the food justify it. Highly recommended!

A childhood favorite. The best croissants in Quebec & Ontario combined. A real authentic French experience. So glad they now offer shipping some of their delicacies.
I buy birthday cakes from this pâtisserie. I also was there for soupe! It is an overprice but delicious place to go but most importantly It has beautiful cakes & croissants. Just recommended if you have money & you dont know what to do!!
Came to Duc de Lorraine for brunch. Food was delicious! My sister & I split Avocado toast, a salad, & a croissant that had dulce de leches filling i believe. Our server Claudia was so nice & the staff were super attentive especially when we needed refill on water. Love the outdoor seat area & they have tons of pastry selections inside!

We traveled all the way from Ontario to try their square croissant & I must say that it was all worth it. Souna greeted us & helped us & Iris took over. They were both amazing. Iris was very welcoming & friendly. The pastries were delectable, exquisite & heavenly!!! 😍🔥 Would I drive again to Montreal? Absolutely 💯
Searching for delicious pastries? Duc de Lorraine is your place! I fell in love with the raspberry cream filled croissant & the macarons. Perfect brunch spot with an awesome view of the oratory!
The croissant cookie was amazing. The tiramisu latte & hot chocolate were pretty good too. Just that the price range on the description should have been $$$$ or $$$$$ not $$. These 3 items costed almost $50 with tax & tips.

I was really excited to try the place but I was a bit disappointed. The staff is friendly & the pastries are tempting & presentable. They do have the viral pastries like the cookie croissant. It is also kids friendly, they provide crayons for them to draw on the table paper. We ordered a butter croissant ($5.25) & pistachio New York roll ($11.25). However, the taste was below average & it was overpriced almost double the other cafes & bakeries. Also, the dine-in prices are higher than the take out prices. The pistachio decoration & filling were disappointing & tasted artificial. It seems they use artificial flavoring & coloring for them.
Andrew was an amazing server! The food was delicious. I had the fillet mignon Benedict & the dulce de letche croissant. Everything was great, I would recommend it!
Bakery Duc de Loraine offers a delightful array of French pastries & breads, known for their authentic taste & quality. I rave about their croissants & specialty cakes, making it a must-visit for pastry enthusiasts in the area.
