I have been going to Duc De Lorraine for the past 35 years. Last night, I had a diner with my grandson to celebrate his 20th birthday. Filet Mignon was impeccable. Service was outstanding as usual, & dessert was divine :)Voir plus
Pour le prix qu'on paye c'est très boff, j'ai manger des meilleurs burgers chez McDo qu'au Duc de Lorraine & pour le prix ça vaut pas la peine honnêtement. Payer 30$+ pour un sandwich au jambon fromage avec un pain sec comme la roche boff. Déçu pour le prix que j'ai payer. Même les desserts

I like sometimes to stop on my way home at different places & try different things. So, I stopped here to get some take out desserts. The take out box is pretty fancy, & so is the place in general. The desserts are good, but nothing that will take your breath away or anything. But what really impresses is the price. Pretty big disparity when it comes to the price & what is being offered. & that's my reason for the 3 stars.
To be fair, this is more the kind of place you bring someone you are trying to impress & not a place you come for the food.Voir plus

J'ai passé un agréable moment à l'occasion de mon anniversaire j'y retournerai probablement pour un café & un dessert mais je n'ai pas aimé le matcha qui avait un goût & odeur de poisson. La serveuse l'a gentiment échanger sans hésitation. Je ne peux malheureusement pas mettre plus que 3 étoiles parce qu'il y avait beaucoup de choses qui était à améliorer, selon moi. Le verre d'eau sentais dur, mes raisins manquait de fraîcheur, mon Baba au rhum goûtais seulement l'eau & le sucre, le blanc d'oeuf était coulant dans mon oeuf poché. A beautiful place for spoiling yourself or others. You can take out some delicious French pastry, or eat inside in a beautiful dining area.
We had the elegant Omelette Florentine, a delicately light omelette with spinach & gruyere& tomato, & a delicious & massive Salade Niçoise. For dessert, we've had the Napolitain, Eclair crême Chantlly, & Opéra cake. Their croissants are wonderful too.

Generally speaking my Dijon burger is not enough Dijon mustard. The meat patty has the blood taste which I don't like. I normally have medium rare steak, however that blood taste from minced beef is not pleasant & especially it is a $40 burger.
However my friend has this Benedictine over fillet Mignon is very good.
The dessert is must have! We had the chocolate caramel croissant & the mouse rocher. The crispy croissant along with caramel is fantastic. the mouse rocher is a bit sweet, but perfect when matched with an Americano.
The waitress & waited are very polite
However the hostess are ok.
The dining area is a bit small which is crowded.

Nous avons passé une excellente soirée dans ce restaurant. L'ambiance était magnifique & le service irréprochable. Les plats étaient délicieux, & le vin recommandé par le serveur s'est avéré être un excellent choix. L'atmosphère générale était tout simplement sublime.
Avant de partir, nous avons également commandé des desserts à emporter, & ils étaient non seulement exquis, mais aussi magnifiquement emballés. Une expérience parfaite du début à la fin !Voir plus
Although Duc de Lorraine is a magnificent restaurant; last evening I was very disappointed with the welcome & service we initially received. We were greeted by the Batista behind the counter. We had to walk ourselves into the dining room with no guidance to our table. We sat at our table which was not completely set … I had to take our candle & flower vase from the table next to us which was not out back on our table from the clean up. We needed to wait at least 10 minutes before anyone even offered us water. We needed to ask for bread & butter at the start of the meal . THEN … Rashid took over & everything ran smoothly from that point onward. Rashid is a professional & has been at Duc de Lorraine for approximately 7 years & that is evident. When I made the reservation, I mentioned it was my husband's birthday. …. NO celebration at dessert time was mentioned. Now that was disappointing. All this to say I still left a very descent tip for the staff. Praying that this is not going to become a practice because that is not the Duc de Lorraine I know since 1975 when I ordered my wedding cake & desserts!Voir plus

Best place to have creme brûlée 😍😍 but the service was not good as they were so rude not ready to answer our questions, everything was french & I didn't understand so asked few questions before ordering each item after 2 3 questions their faces changed & didn't answer properly.Voir plus

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the pastries. Their croissants are buttery, flaky perfection, & the selection of desserts is nothing short of exquisite. Pairing these with their rich, smooth coffee makes for a divine treat. Service is warm & attentive, adding to the overall experience. MUST TRY This French pastry shop & restaurant is a must try in montreal! The only negative thing I would add & this is why I give it a 4 star rating is because of how slow they are to bring out 3 already made dessert & two coffees! But if you have time to sit & wait, do try this place out!Voir plus
J'y ai passé un agréable moment!! Notre serveuse Charlie très attentionnée au moindre détail. Un déjeuner pour 2 personnes ( entrées & plat principal , sans dessert, ni café, ni vin ) dépassant 210 $ ...pour un menu' café parisien/ brasserie' !
