I celebrate on a Sunday for Easter with my family at this spot that one my friend suggest me to give it a try ! I invited my husband, father-in-law & my mom wanted to join us with the kids & we absolutely enjoy the food in there ❤?
The service was great ! Absolutely love the 5 stars service ✨? We start the food with two entree of fried calamari to share along with the bread , it arrives super fast & we enjoyed the first courses & was looking forward to get the main dishes ! We order a tomahawk steak (beef), rib steak & a du boucher steak to share. It took over a hour to received the main courses as we were hungry 🥲 it was our first time in here so didn't know that it would've taken so long to get it ready. However, once we received the main courses with also a platter of shrimp, it was soooo delicious 😋 We really enjoy our food to share with the family & after that order the desserts & coffee 🍨 🎂 ☕?
Steak were extremely tender & worth the wait at the end ! Would come back again with the family in the futur 🥰 next time we know that the food takes longer to cook ❤? worth the price for the quality of their food
Side note: I just wish we had the menu on hands because it was hard to remember & to translate to my family everytime even if they had the menu all written on the wall was bit hard to read from where we were seated at 😅Voir plus
Literally right next to the butcher shop.. Relaxed atmosphere, professional waiters with great service. Food was top-notch. Our group shared beef & salmon tartare, calamari, arabiatta, ravioli, & a perfectly prepared porterhouse steak (Florentine).. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food.Voir plus
The overall experience was average - seemed disorganized when you enter even though we had a reservation. The good overall but quite over priced . Ordered a rib steak $48 which was decent but the two sides served with the steak were skimpy ( less than a half of pepper & potatoe). Ordered a lobster tail as an add on for $20 & the tail was no more than two small bites - very disappointing. The calamari were decent but at a $25 for a small portion. I found the restaurant too noisy & you are practically on top of each other.
Best steak in the town! Fresh & juicy! We ordered salmon & beaf tartare & tuna tataki for appetizers & T-bone (Fiorentina) & fillet miniogn steak for dinner. T-bone was portion for two but I think it was actually for three persons. taste was amazing! We went there on Wednesday & it was crowded as we barrly could here each other but we received good service. Price was good considering quality & portion size. We were 2 couples & ordered a few appetizers. The calamari was good as was the octopus. The salad was fresh as well. Rib steak was a nice piece & well prepared. They were kind enough to decant my older wine. Although it was quite noisy, I would recommend.Voir plus

Not at all what I expected. Way over priced for the service & the quality of food. The table was too tiny we asked for another table to be added if possible. We were told tables were reserved. The busboy was kind enough to get us the extra table. We asked for a mid-well cooked steak, we got a charcoaled piece. Best part, the waiter arguied that was what we ordered. We waited a total time of 2h13m for a steak dinner. Bring your own wine is what's keeping this place in business. The signature dessert is just ok. Not to die for really. The pasta was good. The calamari could be a little crispy. They serve a plate of antipasto which is free with bread. After the meal, we got a plate of fruits (oranges, melon, & spoiled grapes) complementary of the house. Over all, it wasn't the greatest of experiences.Voir plus
July 2024. Our annual visit to Montreal. Family took us to this resto at our request. Compared to last year, a bit disappointed. Atmosphere... About the same but with less clients. Service... Many waiters have been changed. Service is ok only. Food... The highly recommended oysters are only so, so. The calamari is good, the cesar salad is ok, the beef tartare is as expected not outstanding, pieces of meat could be more finely chopped. The steak knives need to be replaced, all of their handles have splinters. The glasses are dirty, 8 out of 10 are dirty with stains on the side & leftover lipstick stains on the rim. All in, fairly disappointed. The owner just left as we arrived at 6pm. He needs to be back on the ball watching over this place. @@@@@@@@@ July 2023. Our family of 7 adults went there for dinner. The only drawback is that we had to choose between the 5:30 (too early) or the 8:30 (too late) sitting. We opted for the early one. The food was excellent. This is a meat place, not recommended for non meat eaters. Service is friendly & efficient. Decor is simple & suitable for family or big group (not recommended for business lunch or dinner). Neat Bring You Own Wine restaurant. This is a solid 4.5 in my book (if only Google allows .5 rating) The food is excellent. Everything is well prepared & you can tell the ingredients are fresh. I sure hope so as it's a butcher place at the same time. The steaks are of great quality. We tried various dishes & they're generous enough in size to share. The services were meticulous & friendly. The price is on point. It's not cheap, but definitely not overcharged. The ambiance is cozy. You're either sitted inside with minimal decor or outside under the chapiteau. It does have its charm, but nothing to rave about. Definitely put the emphasis on the great company you're with & the wine you brought to enjoy!Voir plus
What a fantastic meal. I really didn't expect such good food. The rib steak was as close to perfection I've ever had & the calamari was delicious & a generous portion. The service was excellent & the atmosphere was very pleasant. I didn't know they didn't serve alcohol, you can bring your own, but it didn't dampen the experience. Highly recommended.Voir plus

My colleagues suggested me to try this place & I can't thank them enough. From the outside, you would think it's a casual restaurant attached to a butcher shop as an add on but once you get in, the atmosphere changes to a nice family style ambiance. We were a group of 8 & we went on a monday, & it was packed just to give you an idea! The staff were welcoming & friendly, they have an extensive seasonal menu & they took time to explain to us how it works for us first timers. We started with the calamari, & they were cooked to perfection!! Not too much batter & great seasoning. I ordered the ribeye steak & it was cooked perfect medium rare. The portion was great for the price. I finish with the tartufo & it was amazing. A gelato dessert with caramel inside, yes!! I have been a customer of Boucher à la table for a few years now, but my last two experiences were disappointing, with the latest one being the worst! It seems like there might have been a change in the kitchen staff as the food's quality has notably declined. The calamari lacked taste & had an undesirable texture. Additionally, the two medium tomahawks I ordered (the most expensive items on the menu) arrived well done. This was especially embarrassing as I had invited friends & spoken highly of the place beforehand. When I pointed out the issue to the waiter, he couldn't provide any helpful comments or suggest a replacement. Wow what an amazing place! Such a great selection on the menu. We were two people & the evening we went was a full house but they were able to still squeeze us in. Atmosphere was pretty cool & the service was great. We shared everything: started with the salmon tartare & a side salad. Calamari, mushroom risotto- amazing in flavour, the steak cooked to perfection. For dessert we got the creme brûlée & the tiramisu. The creme brûlée can use more sugar on top to have that glaze on top to crack it would have been perfect. But the tiramisu is to die for! Everything over was delicious, 100% would come backVoir plus

We found this place by chance & very happy we did. When we walked in, there were many available seats, but the manager struggled to give us a table, & we found out the reason 15 minutes after as the restaurant got packed. We ordered green salad & tamahak steak, which both were incredible. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was super delicious. I highly recommend this place, but be sure you call & reserve. Otherwise, you might not be as lucky as we were. We will come back again to try their pastas.Voir plus

Being an international trained chef. Wow. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meat & protein & I ordered a Chicago rare tomahawk steak & it was perfect the Chef prepared it exactly as if I did it. I’m in love. If you have not tasted steaks cooked to perfection then you need to try here 100% Satisfied. Staff was ver accommodating to an old Chef 🥰

Rib steak de qualité inférieure. Viande sans persillage. Cuisson demandée médium-saignant... reçu presque bien cuit. Résultat: Viande ultra sèche. Le serveur n'a rien fait suite à mon insatisfaction. Bien que les accompagnements étaient bien apprêtés, le principal était immangeable.
Ce steakhouse n'a absolument rien à envier.
