I had Andhra chicken masala with Dosa. Literally I just went back to my native Nellore, instantly. The food is superb & price also reasonable as well as the Size of dosa is some what Big. They can reduce the dosa size by 1/3. The curry is perfect.
Amazing, delicious food...exceeded the expectations..meeting the vibe...the best in entire town...amazed with the authenticity they are managing with the taste..Service super great by the team & the ownership...this is a must place to go
This ks by far the best dosa place in Montreal, maybe even all of Canada. I would even challenge someone to find something this good even in India. The masala mix is really good, better than any I've ever had, & their Chettinad chicken keema dosa is fantastic & so filling (my favourite). The sambar is extraordinary & full of flavours. The vada is crisp, the idli is soft & melts in your mouth. The chutneys go perfectly with the dishes. They even do spicy garlic noodles which make even me sweat (I love it). This is a hidden gem of Montreal. My happy place. The staff is kind, the owners wonderful. I just love Dosa Pointe.
Assez bruyant le samedi soir, mais incontournable pour qui souhaite tester la cuisine de l'Inde du Sud, notamment les dosa. Excellent rapport qualité prix, & des dosa tout simplement excellents.
A family trip to Montréal is truly incomplete without a stop at Dosa Pointe, a restaurant that consistently draws a lively & multicultural crowd.
The dosas, while simple & unpretentious, are well executed. What distinguishes the experience, however, are the accompaniments-the sambhar, rasam, & chutneys. Each is prepared with remarkable finesse, offering a perfect balance of flavors that complement the dishes beautifully.
The Chilli Gobi was another highlight: impeccably crisp, served fresh, & arriving at the table piping hot, showcasing both freshness & skillful preparation.
Service was prompt, efficient, & attentive without being intrusive-an aspect that significantly enhanced the overall experience.
In particular, the rasam deserves special acclaim. Perfectly seasoned with just the right interplay of spice & tang, it stands out as a testament to the kitchen's mastery of flavor balance.
Dosa Pointe is, without question, a culinary destination that merits a visit on any trip to Montréal.
Quality has extremely down graded. Been a customer for 2 years & today was absolutely lowest.
Ordered rasam.- extremely salty
Rava dosa masala - very oily bit burnt too
Masala dosa - average. Both aloo masala for dosa was very oily & bland.
Paneer schezwan - paneer is not fresh & very hard compared to other restraunts in MTL. Looked like grocery market paneer.
Vibe- loud music even when while restaurant has chaotic loud talking vibe.
Service - no one will attend you unless you scream.lacked tissue papers & water.
It is really worth to visit this place especially to try Sounth Indian dishes such as dosa , idli, lassi. They have different varieties in dosa. Even some basic options in drinks. If you are going montreal, you should go here. One more thing, best choice for vegetarian lovers.
