Dosa is perfect. Veg noodles, chicken 65, Gobi Manchurian are all delicious options too. Idli & vada are absolutely the best at dosa point--chutneys & sambar are so tasty. The staff are very very friendly & warm. I love you dosa Pointe.
Wow had been here yesterday with my family. Never had this good Andhra chicken curry & parotta even when I worked in Andhra. Hakka cuisine is to die for. Starters to noodles to Veg Manchurian everything is top notch. Will sure make this restaurant my family's go to place
. The customer service was extremely disappointing. When I shared my feedback about the food with the owner, he was very rude & showed no concern for my comments. While the food itself was okay, the portion size was quite small & there was very little chicken in the dish.
Customer satisfaction should be a priority. It's important to listen to feedback, appreciate customer reviews, & treat customers with respect in order to improve the overall experience.
Love the spinach dosa & parotta & chicken curry. Amazing customer service.
What an incredible experience at Dosa Pointe! Every dish was bursting with authentic South Indian flavors. The idli plate was absolutely amazing: soft, fluffy, & perfectly paired with delicious chutneys & sambar. The chicken biryani was great, fragrant, flavorful, & cooked just right. The chilli garlic chicken was spicy but completely out of this world: bold, fiery, & incredibly tasty. & the Mysore masala dosa was beyond amazing : crispy, perfectly spiced, & truly unforgettable.
The flavors & aromas genuinely transported me back to India, reminding me of authentic home-style food. If you're craving real Indian taste in Montreal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
They serve over 30 different types of dosa. We tried the Chettinad lamb keema dosa, served with authentic South Indian sambar & chutney. Their fried rice & chicken Manchurian were equally good.
I had been to this restaurant & surprised to taste the food. I had Andhra chicken masala with Dosa. Literally I just went back to my native Nellore, instantly. The food is superb & price also reasonable as well as the Size of dosa is some what Big. They can reduce the dosa size by 1/3. The curry is perfect.
This ks by far the best dosa place in Montreal, maybe even all of Canada. I would even challenge someone to find something this good even in India. The masala mix is really good, better than any I've ever had, & their Chettinad chicken keema dosa is fantastic & so filling (my favourite). The sambar is extraordinary & full of flavours. The vada is crisp, the idli is soft & melts in your mouth. The chutneys go perfectly with the dishes. They even do spicy garlic noodles which make even me sweat (I love it). This is a hidden gem of Montreal. My happy place. The staff is kind, the owners wonderful. I just love Dosa Pointe.
My dad is a big dosa lover so it made sense to bring my parents to Dosa Pointe. Although it was hard to find parking, we managed to find a spot & just walked to the resto. They had so many varieties of dosa, so we decided to go with Karam Podi chicken dosa, Hara Bhara Lamb dosa, Gongura egg dosa & Mysore masala dosa. The dosa was tasty - you get what you pay for. We also ended up getting some ras malai & I initially thought it could be like the pre-packaged ones BUT it was actually perfectly sweet & softer. Staff were quite friendly & the place is quite busy. (Unfortunately they don't take reservations so make sure u guys go early)
P.S def not a spot to have a convo after having paid the bill. It's only fair to leave so, that others can be seated & there will be no space-hogging
I highly recommend this spot! ❤?
Very good dosa place! Especially the paneer masala dosa, & the chicken keema dosa. We also had the Manchurian vegetable balls, which were awesome!
Literally just saw a woman cry from how good the food is here. Highly recommend the chicken 65 if you have a decent spice tolerance.
Excellent Dosa. Also tried the Chile fried rice (chicken) with veg (dumpling) gravy & it hit the spot for me. Dinner for 5 140 all in. Happy happy!
Got the chicken dosa - very little meat. We ordered to-go so they very nicely pack the potatoes inside the Masala dosa separately so the dosa don't get soggy. It's inexpensive but at the same time the portion wasn't filling enough for us. They do take credit card. I still prefer the other Indian restaurant we went previously.
The masala dosa was delightful & flavorful. Although there was a slight rush, the staff managed the situation effectively. It is worth noting that, in comparison to other Indian restaurants in Montreal, they maintain a high standard of cleanliness, including the restrooms. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary gift of porotta & chicken manchurian.
We are from GTA & have been in many places in Canada & tasted indian food. We can unequivocally vouch this restaurant serves best tasting south indian food. Even all chutneys that they serve on side are of highest quality & taste that one will never find anywhere in North America. We ordered Dosa, Idli (super soft & tasty), Chilli garlic chicken noodles (awesome taste) , coffee (delicious), mango lassi, gulab jamun (yum). Everything we ordered had the genuine taste of flavours that the food deserves. The servers are well mannered & we loved them. The owner is so genuine & down to earth that we felt humbled to talk to him. We strongly recommend everyone who visit Montreal to dine in here at least once & rest assured you will leave with a happy tummy & smile. Thanks to everyone at this restaurant. Chef, we love you!
The food was absolutely amazing. Genuinely spicy & traditional by Indian standards. It's by no means watered down i.e. it is proper spicy. In Montreal, this tends to be a problem as the food is less spicy in order to cater to a medium level spicyness. Not here. Dosa Pointe is perfect. I loved the Chicken 65, the Chicken Dosa & the Chicken Hakka Noodles. The Idli was a good appetizer as well (nowhere near the previous 3). This is definitely a good place to eat out if you enjoy spicy Indian food.
Best Restaurant in Montreal I have been a flight attendant & have visited many places & have tried different foods, but I have never eaten food like this. They have a lot of variety & fresh food. My Favorite is Chettinad Chicken Dosa. I love their Indo Chinese Cuisine as well.
Must try! for the first time I would say we have a great spot for Dosa. Never had a fresh dosa frok other restaurants always had some issues. With their batter. Here it was like homemade. 👍 keep up the service & food quality 👌. Was too good. Had their keema dosa, chicken fried rice, idli, vada, chicken soup, & most of all the masala tea really can't beat any other ones here from my experience.
Last night we were a group of six friends all from India but from different states. We had Indo Chinese fusion food called Hakka, for the Soup where you will get Chicken soup in Canada for $4.50 & it was so delicious. We tried Chicken Manchurian, Egg noodles, Gobhi 65, Garlic fried rice etc. so good for the price. We all found it same or better as we get back in our country. No compromise on flavours & spice. Will definitely visit again. Full worth of your money
