Got the chicken dosa - very little meat. We ordered to-go so they very nicely pack the potatoes inside the Masala dosa separately so the dosa don't get soggy. It's inexpensive but at the same time the portion wasn't filling enough for us. They do take credit card. I still prefer the other Indian restaurant we went previously.
The masala dosa was delightful & flavorful. Although there was a slight rush, the staff managed the situation effectively. It is worth noting that, in comparison to other Indian restaurants in Montreal, they maintain a high standard of cleanliness, including the restrooms. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary gift of porotta & chicken manchurian.
We are from GTA & have been in many places in Canada & tasted indian food. We can unequivocally vouch this restaurant serves best tasting south indian food. Even all chutneys that they serve on side are of highest quality & taste that one will never find anywhere in North America. We ordered Dosa, Idli (super soft & tasty), Chilli garlic chicken noodles (awesome taste) , coffee (delicious), mango lassi, gulab jamun (yum). Everything we ordered had the genuine taste of flavours that the food deserves. The servers are well mannered & we loved them. The owner is so genuine & down to earth that we felt humbled to talk to him. We strongly recommend everyone who visit Montreal to dine in here at least once & rest assured you will leave with a happy tummy & smile. Thanks to everyone at this restaurant. Chef, we love you!
The food was absolutely amazing. Genuinely spicy & traditional by Indian standards. It's by no means watered down i.e. it is proper spicy. In Montreal, this tends to be a problem as the food is less spicy in order to cater to a medium level spicyness. Not here. Dosa Pointe is perfect. I loved the Chicken 65, the Chicken Dosa & the Chicken Hakka Noodles. The Idli was a good appetizer as well (nowhere near the previous 3). This is definitely a good place to eat out if you enjoy spicy Indian food.
Best Restaurant in Montreal I have been a flight attendant & have visited many places & have tried different foods, but I have never eaten food like this. They have a lot of variety & fresh food. My Favorite is Chettinad Chicken Dosa. I love their Indo Chinese Cuisine as well.
Must try! for the first time I would say we have a great spot for Dosa. Never had a fresh dosa frok other restaurants always had some issues. With their batter. Here it was like homemade. 👍 keep up the service & food quality 👌. Was too good. Had their keema dosa, chicken fried rice, idli, vada, chicken soup, & most of all the masala tea really can't beat any other ones here from my experience.
Last night we were a group of six friends all from India but from different states. We had Indo Chinese fusion food called Hakka, for the Soup where you will get Chicken soup in Canada for $4.50 & it was so delicious. We tried Chicken Manchurian, Egg noodles, Gobhi 65, Garlic fried rice etc. so good for the price. We all found it same or better as we get back in our country. No compromise on flavours & spice. Will definitely visit again. Full worth of your money
Yesterday I had dine in at restaurant I really enjoyed the food with my friend, I also asked for take out andhara egg curry for my brother , he's egg vegetarian, & turns out I received chicken andhara, "I specifically mentioned to the order receiver" which is very not fair because at the end I payed for what I haven't received & we had to pay again to order another food, but overall the food was good.
Came here at 5:30pm on a Sunday & the restaurant was already pretty busy. We were quickly seated & the waitress was great to give us some recommendations. I ordered the lamb keema dosa, chicken Manchurian & the mango lassi. We got the food very quickly & everything was exceptional & very filling. Will be back again!
We always love the dosa here but thi time we tried there Chilli garlic chicken & it was super tasty. Just like we used to eat in India the spice level & taste was superb. Looking forward to try more from there indo Chinese menu
