A long-established spot in Chinatown that many locals know well. Famous for roast pork & roast duck, especially the roast duck noodles. Authentic Chinese flavors. Upstairs seating offers a great view of the street enjoy hot noodles with Hong Kong style milk tea while watching snowfall in winter or golden leaves in autumn. A true Hong Kong experience in the heart of Montreal.

An OG of Montreal's Chinese BBQ scene. Straight to the point with quick BBQ on rice platters & Hong Kong drinks. Efforts were made to modernize while still maintaining the nostalgic HK movie vibes.

An honest family run business from a Hong Kongese multi-generational family. Located in a food plaza, the front windows showcase the classic roast duck, crispy & bbq pork.

The inside is decorated with a lot of Bruce Lee in the upper level that overlooks the street of Quebec. The food is authentic Hong Kong food & is delicious. No short cuts were made. The milk tea leaves some to be desired with the flavor & high amount of milk to tea & condensed milk used. The tea does not have a lot of condensed milk to give it sugar.

The staff were all helpful & king people.

One of my most favorite places to eat in Montreal whenever I come visit. The char siu & fried belly pork are to die for. I recently came back from Hong Kong & must say that they even do it better than the origin. I wish I lived in Montreal, luckily I'm only a short flight away. The milk tea & lemon iced tea both taste very authentic as well.

The server, Angela was lovely & kind. I will be back whenever I can.

I came here for the drinks, recommended by a friend! The milk tea & lemon tea is so good, just like that of Hong Kong! The service is so good, I had a great time here because a waitress called Angela & I had great conversations! 🔥

Now THIS is a Chinese restaurant! The food was the best I've had in Montreal & the atmosphere really added to the feel. Brings me back to my time in Hong Kong. But the service was the best part. Zoe was a gem, a national treasure, & if you are blessed to have her wait your table I guarantee you won't be disappointed. May she be blessed by all the deities she believes in.

Truly one of those spots I'd miss if I ever had to move away from Montreal. Outstanding Hong Kong BBQ & other great dishes from the kitchen.

As a traveler from Hong Kong, I can tell that the atmosphere feels like the old times in Hong Kong. However, the food I have ordered was not that great. Firstly, BBQ Pork & Roasted Pork are supposed to have different tastes, but the restaurant seems to have similar marination. Secondly, BBQ Pork & Roasted Pork are supposed to have certain percentage of grease to have better "grilled" tastes, but the meat here were too thin & so not tendered. Thirdly, BBQ Pork & Roasted Pork in Hong Kong are affordable food for the general public, which is manifested in the great portion & great price. The food here are not that expensive, but the portion of meat seems to be too not generous. Fourthly, BBQ Pork & Roasted Pork are supposed to have some kind of black & crispy texture at the edge (膿邊 in Chinese), but the meat here certainly ignore that important part. The iced milk tea is good that the tea base is Hongkongese. The use of milk makes it more compatible with the Hong Kong style. The size of the milk tea is big, which is quite similar to Hong Kong. Overall, I would say that in Canada, especially in Montreal, you cannot expect too much in Chinese food. But it's generally ok compared with other Chinese food in Northern America.

Great place to go in Chinatown. The food is great (although my roast duck did have a lot of bones). The wonton soup is a must have. It's large enough for 2-3 people to share & comes with 4 wontons. It has a great onion flavor. My favorite of the meats is the roast pork - which is really pork belly with crispy skin. Even in soup the skin stays crispy. The char sui is also very good. They also have a very refreshing Hong Kong Lemon Iced Tea. The restaurant itself is tucked away & there is often a line. The line can be long, but it moves fast. Once seated, the service is very rushed & uneven. They usually only have two servers for the whole restaurant who also clean & prepare some parts of orders. I ordered the roast pork one time but the server messed up the order & brought char sui - lesson learned, triple check your order with them. You also might need to flag down your server. If you get there too late they usually run out of the more popular items & what they have when you sit down might not be what they have when you order. Because of the short staff, the tables & chairs are not always cleaned properly.

Been a regular here for years for good reason. Probably the best HK style Chinese outside of HongKong, easily a contender for the best in Canada much less North America. Amazing portions for the price & all the meats are done perfectly. Every dish is beyond delicious, highly recommend checking out everything on the menu. Don't sleep on the specials either. Unfussy & straightforward old-school ambience with great staff. See you soon Dobe & Andy's!!

Very nice & simple restaurant, serving traditionnal & modern hong kong style food. Fast & amazing service too! Highlights : - Char Siu Pork - Crispy roast pork belly - Well Seasoned fried chicken! They kept to same retro style as the old restaurant (it was a chinese noodle before) & it brings out some childhood memories ♥️

This is my go-to spot in Chinatown. The place has a nice, old-school vibe with OG Hong-Kong cinema posters. The BBQ meat is incredible, I highly recommend the Char Siu pork!!!
