Le cadre est magnifique & on a aimé nos pâtes! Par contre le service a été extrêmement désagréable. Je signale que je suis végane & donc je demande si la focaccia qui nous est suggérée est végétalienne & je reçois un "bah j'chais pas hein" en haussant les épaules. Donc pas de focaccia pour nous au cas où.J'indique que j'aimerais un à-côté de légumes grillés & demande s'ils sont bien cuisinés dans l'huile d'olive & non dans le beurre & le serveur roule des yeux en disant "Roh là là pffff". Il n'a jamais offert d'aller vérifier, il n'est clairement pas au courant du menu & son attitude était quand même déplacée de faire ça! J'ai eu un espresso mais pas allongé contrairement à ce que j'avais commandé & il a presque jeté la tasse sur la table. Avec mon invitée on s'est regardées vraiment interloquées. Honnêtement autant j'ai trouvé le cadre & le décor incroyable & apprécié de trouver des options pour tous les goûts sur le menu, autant le serveur a gâché notre impression générale.

The ambiance is really cute, the pasta was cooked perfectly & delicious. The service was good until we saw a baby rat running around the dining room. The staff didn't really react or seem to care until 5 min went by & one tried & failed to trap it in a glass. No one apologized or tried to reassure us that this is isolated incident. We know it can happen but say something to your customers!

I'm only mad I didn't eat here sooner. We came for an early dinner on Friday & I am so impressed with the food, service, drinks & ambiance of Dinette Marcella. For starters we ordered the mozzarella sticks & eggplant, both fantastic but my favorite was the eggplant...it wasn't over breaded or cheesy so the eggplant flavor really came through. For mains I ordered the ricotta tortellini with sausage & my husband had the veal ossobuco which was unreal. We were so impressed with the quality of the food & I ended up taking half my meal home & I can say it reheated spectacularly. I had the caramel dessert & I could have ordered three just for me. Our server, Malo, was a true gem & he made our night. He was attentive & gave great recommendations. We enjoyed our conversation with him & will for sure return. Malo was even kind enough to have the manager come over so we could book a dinner during the Christmas holiday. Definitely come here for excellent quality meals if you are in Montreal & the Old Port area.

Great Italian food, a little on the expensive side but the dishes are very well executed. The drinks are fun & creative, Pear Pressure is brought flambée at the table. Pastas are good, best ones is the ragù. Would recommend the mini cannolis as dessert.

This was our first visit to Marcella & we had the best experience. Malo was our server & he was outstanding. The manager on duty was wonderful & took care of our reservation for 12/26. The food was incredible & the service was outstanding. The attention to detail was superior.

We were looking for something special for a night out in the town & we did. Choosing D. Marcella was serendipitous. Everything we had a special touch to it & not typical. The dishes we had were simply delicious. Being of Italian origin I can attest that this gem will please. The Negroni infused with espresso was incredible. Enjoy!

Beautiful vibe with extremely comfy chairs. We unfortunately had poor service; we waited a good 20min (if not more) after being seated before being noticed & giving our order in. Our drink order was forgotten (we had to order again), the waitress told us she would bring extra plates for us to share our dishes & those never came. In the end, the waitress felt bad & offered us free focaccia for apologies, which was very thoughtful of her. The busboy however was very attentive & our water glasses & needs (extra parmesan or pepper) were met very fast. The food has wonderful presentation, but lacked greatly in taste. Both pasta dishes were bland in my opinion & the focaccia was a bit dry (maybe a stale batch?). The tomato sauce for the meatballs were definitely the highlight, very salty & delicious sauce, perfect for dipping.
