Del Friscos is described as a reliable choice with a broad range of vegan options, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. The service is often praised for attentiveness and friendliness, even when the restaurant is busy. The menu features pizzas, pastas, seafood and chicken dishes, with many noting especially tasty pizzas and oven baked specialties. While most visits are positive, there are occasional criticisms about certain dishes being inconsistent, meals arriving lukewarm or underseasoned, and slower or uneven service during peak times. Overall, it is seen as a versatile option for families and groups with good value for money and a lively yet comfortable vibe.
We were a group of 9 at Del Friscos to celebrate a birthday . Our server was Zoey…….she was absolutely fantastic. Service was timely without being rushed, she was open to questions & all service was provided with a smile. This despite a very full restaurant. We had various pizzas, pasta & 1 chicken dish . The food was delicious & the portions very generous. A small cake was provided for the birthday girl & Zoey very kindly brought complimentary mini cannolis for the group. Overall a great experience. Thank you Zoey
We have been here many times. The eggplant was always delicious as were the steamed clams. The salmon is still delicious. This time the eggplant was hard, couldn't chew or slice it. The sauce was tasteless. The lasagna was also tasteless. We tried about a quarter of the dish & brought the rest home. Took out a cast iron pan put in a tablespoon of virgin olive oil, salt & pepper, & heated it up on low. Took sliced onion, sliced garlic & shallot (all fresh) & slowcooked them until translucent put in the lasagna, the eggplant, the meat sauce with the spaghetti & sprinkled with oregano & thyme & left it on medium low. DELICIUS!! It does not take much, just know what you are doing or charge $3 more & use the proper ingrdients...unless the chef went to the Chef Boyardee school of cooking.
Stopped in for lunch on our way out of Montreal on a Saturday with a party of five (4 adults, 1 child).
There was no one at the front when we first walked in, but we were acknowledged shortly after & seated promptly. We were seated at a white cloth tablecloth table, which gave a nice home-style feel, though I did question consistency since not all tables had them.
I did have to ask for a kids' menu for my 8-year-old, which felt like a small detail that could have been anticipated.
Service overall was strong. Our waitress was attentive, especially with drink refills, & maintained good energy throughout.
We ordered a good variety: chipotle mango chicken, Jack Daniel's chicken, short ribs, mashed potatoes, spaghetti, penne with meatballs, a fettuccine Alfredo kids' meal, plus the soup of the day options - minestrone & potato.
The minestrone was very good. The potato soup was okay but a little underwhelming. Portion sizes were generous across the board, including the kids' meal.
The short ribs weren't what we expected - more of a roast-style preparation without a bone. While it was mentioned they weren't classic ribs, a clearer explanation would have helped set expectations.
The Shirley Temples felt more like syrup & 7-Up without the classic citrus component. Coffee was average at best - I'd skip it next time.
They brought out complimentary mini cannolis for the table, which was a thoughtful touch & appreciated.
Total before tip was $197, & we left $100 in appreciation for the attentive service.
Overall, a solid lunch experience with generous portions & attentive service, with a few small opportunities to elevate attention to detail.

I have loved this place for over 20 years & it keeps getting better . Menu is delicious Serbia is exception ( ask for Jenn she is the best) & the wine collection is on par with some downtown restaurants ! Highly recommend
I dined here at Del Frisco's for my very first time.
My waitress Maddie was nice & took great care of my table.
She was very attentive to my order details & made sure my water was topped up.
I ordered two soups. The minestrone & soup of the day: Salmon chowder. Both were very good.
I ordered the 8oz. Pan seared Cajun style salmon fillet topped with bruschetta & balsamic glaze.
Salmone Di Louisiana
8oz. Filet de saumon à la Cajun poêlé, recouvert de bruschetta, & d'émail balsamique.
This was a very flavorful dish & I would get it again, but a note of caution is that I found some bones in my salmon. I do believe I removed them all but I get alarmed when I see them.
At the end of my meal, I ordered a shot of Grappa Digestif & I must say that was one of the best I've had.
The restaurant was nicely decorated. I liked the wine display in the main dining room & the special Ferrari booth by the bar. Being the car enthusiast I am, I had to take a photo there.
I'm definitely planning to come back here again.
