A spacious & comfortable spot that is perfect for catching up with friends over Thai food. We ordered the mango salad, green curry with chicken, & beef pad thai. The service was attentive & genuinely friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Would definitely return to explore more of the menu.

I ordered the lamb, & it was outstanding - tender, perfectly cooked, & packed with rich, aromatic spices that felt both comforting & bold. You can tell the kitchen knows what it's doing.
As someone who spends a lot of time walking Montreal's neighbourhoods & recommending local spots during my walking tours, this is exactly the kind of restaurant I love highlighting: locally owned, consistent, & genuinely memorable. Loved DEK SEN what a nice little culinary trip to Thailand right in the heart of montreal. Authentic & flavourful food. Loved the Panang, absolutely mouth watering! The little hints of lemon grass had me wanting more. The salt & pepper shrimp on their specials where so crispy & well seasoned. Lets not forget the thai tea, so fresh & perfect amount of sweetness. If i had any positive criticism I'd say the papaya salad lacked a bit of heat. I loved my experience & would definitely return. Thank you for having me :)
Being a fan of Thai food, having to find a halal spot was just perfect! We ordered beef pad Thai, Pla rad prik (I am not sure of the name, it was fried fish in chili sauce), chicken red curry, mango sticky rice & Thai milk tea. All the dishes were prais worthy. We enjoyed the fried fish & red curry most. I have had better pad Thai & milk tea though. But they were also good. The mango sticky rice was just delicious!
The service was nice, the atmosphere was calm. (I think mainly because it was a weekday). There was a promotion as well, for ordering a drink we got a free pad Thai for our child. It was very nice of them.
Some of the dishes on the menu were Thai name, it would be helpful if there were small descriptions of the dish.
I'm absolutely in love. Thai cuisine is my ultimate favourite & Deksen really hit the spot with some classic & new favorites. Will definitely be returning again & again for the service, the amazing food & the extremely friendly staff.
We ordered salt & pepper shrimp, tom yum soup, chicken gyoza, their new flower dumplings, red & green curries (both came with rice), grilled mackerel (very nice with a great green dip).

Cannot go wrong with this place if you're looking for halal thai food. Gyozas were great & mango sticky rice is a must.
However, the beef in my pad see ew was a little tough, which made the meal a little less enjoyable. Wish they had stronger A.C as well since it was hot inside.
Overrall, food & service were great.
Would come back any time for the mango sticky rice.
I came here with my girlfriend for a fairly late weekend dinner.
We ordered the pad kra prow, pad see ew, & two thai iced teas for a total of $72 for 2 people including tax & tip.
It was a solid meal, simply put! The pad see ew was flavorful, & the pad kra prow was actually a fried rice which was an interesting variant of the dish I haven't seen before.
Overall, it might be a bit pricey if you're factoring in drinks, tax & tip, but it's good Thai food in MTL if you want to give it a try.
everything about this thai spot felt super mid… nothing wrong with anything but nothing particularly good or exceptional with anything either… just a decent meal with decent portions with decent flavours… i've had plenty of better thai restaurants
Bon resto thai pour l entré nous avons pris les dumpling sauce arachides.. excellent pour plat principal nous laisser le serveur décider pour nous ,l une des plat était ordinaires & l autre ma fois ,un des meilleurs plat thai que j ai manger & pourtant j ai passer 2 mois en thailande vla 5 ans ,pour la service excellent & le resto est très propre, en passant plat cuisiner par des thai je vais retourner a cette endroit

Absolutely Fantastic Experience at DEKSEN!
Everything from the food to the service was top-notch. We ordered the papaya salad, gyoza, crispy wings, shrimp pad see ew (with that unmistakable wok hei flavor!), crispy shrimps with tamarind sauce & braised beef PANANG curry - each dish was flavorful, fresh, & beautifully presented. The natural coconut water was the perfect refreshing touch to balance the spices.
Service was timely, & the staff were warm, attentive, & friendly throughout our meal. You can really feel the care & authenticity in both the food & the atmosphere. Highly recommend DEKSEN for anyone craving real Thai food done right. We'll definitely be back! 🌶?🇹🇭🥥
