Overall a tasty & fun place for dinner! As a pescatarian, I greatly enjoyed the shrimps, eggs & corn-cheese. The side dishes are very varied, tasted authentic, & were nicely spiced. The sauces are flavourful yet light which is wonderful. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a bit more seafood options, perhaps calamari as another option for grilling. Great vibes & they have a pull-down grill ventilator to get most of the grilling smoke out!
We came here as last resort since the other bbq shops were full but we're surprised at how good this place is. This is like the staple of kbbq in canada, everyone knows this place.
We ordered 2 types of meat (1 pork, 1 beef) & it came with so many other side dishes & soup. The layout of the grill is so unique, with very delicious egg stew & cheese & corn. The soybean paste stew was also amazing as it paired well with the meats. They gave us a bit of lettuce but I wish they gave us more. Sauces were provided too.
Overall would definitely come back here.

It was our first time visiting Daldongnae & it was excellent! Our server took the time to explain the ordering process (one order of meat per person, unlimited refills on the side dishes).
While the servings of meat didn't look like a lot initially, we actually started getting full near the end of our meal! Definitely give the side dishes a try, they really help in filling up while the meat is cooking (we enjoyed the corn cheese & the glass noodles). The meat was of good quality & we found it to be quite tender!
The restaurant interior was cool, & the music was fun (just a tad loud)! Just be cautious that on weekends, the bill cannot be split. We didn't know about this until it came time to pay, so someone in our group had to handle a $150+ bill.
We did kind of feel a bit rushed by the servers to pay & leave towards the end of the meal, which I get to an extent since I imagine it takes a bit of time to reset the table for the next group... But when we visited, there were still plenty of empty tables, so the pressure didn't quite feel necessary? I've read some other reviews & it seems others also felt this way as well, so just keep this in mind if you're the type to linger after eating. Overall, it was a great experience & I'll definitely come back here if I'm nearby!
Not as good as it used to be. The corn did not have enough cheese. The stew & glass noodle salad both super salty. The beef slices we ordered had some dark/black spots. Not fresh?

We ordered the Pork Belly & the Beef Tenderloi for the meat & the beef bimbimbap to share. The bbq comes with egg, kimchi, garlic slices, & cheese corn. (Remember: you can only refill egg & cheese corn when you still have meat on the grill) For the pork, it comes with three thick slices, very delicious! However, beef tenderloin was ok… it was very chewy & it gets burnt pretty quickly. It didn't have much flavour too. It's not as tender as it describes on the online menue, & I don't really recommend the beef tenderloin. The bimbimbap was really good, the portion was perfect for two people. Highly recommended!
P.S. when we were eating, there was a line up. I understand that they've been waiting for a long time, but the servers kept asking whether we are done eating & whether they should take the plates, even when there were still bimbimbap in the bowl. It was quite disturbing because they already told us that we get a maximum of two hours dining time which we were aware. Overall we just felt rushed.
Great place to eat at with unlimited side dishes like kimchi, eggs, corn cheese, fermented bean sprouts, fermented cucumber, glass noodles, mash potatoes, soup... We ordered meats & veggies to gril on the BBQ & came out of the restaurant overstuffed & happy. Price is reasonable & the food's amazing 😍
Amazing & interesting food. The side dishes were delicious & numerous. The meat was excellent quality & fun to cook. You get awesome success like cheese corn & an omelette with each order. The interior is dark but relaxed. Great tunes & neat interior design features. Absolutely loved it.

The beef intestines? Life-changing. Crispy outside, creamy inside (probably filled with liver), cooked to perfection. I legit got emotional - because I knew I could never recreate this at home.
The cast iron grill setup was brilliant: meat in the center, egg cooking on one side, cheesy corn melting on the other - every bite paired with warmth & richness.
But honestly? The other meats, like the beef we ordered, were kind of disappointing. After tasting those intestines, I didn't even care. From now on, I'm only coming back here for that. That's the real star. 🫠
The service is the highlight of the show. Servers are everywhere, things are re-filled quickly, clear insutrctions are given, suggestions are offered, it's perfect.
While the vegetarian option exists, none of the items are that good, & they need to be soaked in one of the sauces from the sides to garner any flavour.
Meats are great, but the way to go is pre-marinated, as otherwise, you lack quite a bit of flavour.
Having gone once, we now know what we like & don't like. Would go again & probably have a better time only ordering things we like.
From the concept itself & the decoration, to the variety & the service. This is definitely a place to eat & share with family & friends.
When you order the meat, you will get the rest of things such as cucumbers, corn with cheese, lettuce, sprouts, etc.
I have tried other bbq restaurants, but this one was outstanding. The quantities, the flavor, the freshness, the service... everything was just right! The only downside is that you will end up smelling like smoke afterwards, but it's worth it.

By far the best Korean BBQ I've ever been to. The cheesy corn is amazing & the bowl they give you to put your meats on has so oh h amazing flavours in it. I've been to a few Kbbq places & nothing compares
Came to this place for than 5 times since it's opened. I Love it 😋wait time during dinner hour was reasonable, only waited 15mins for the table. The meat quality is very good. Highly recommend pork jowl & boneless beef short ribs. All you can eat side dish is awesome, especially the corn cheese & the potato salad.
I recommend anyone planning on going to Daldongnae to pick up the phone & make a reservation, as it is quite a popular place. I go there a few times a year & it has always been great. The good is great, I love all of the free side dishes that come with the meat selection. I also really like the Korean cold noodles & kim fried rice that you can get in their menu. The staff is very nice & very quick when you ask for a refill for anything really (water, lettuce, eggs, corn cheese, kimchi, other side dishes). I love that place!
This is a such wonderful place for authentic Korean BBQ. The price is reasonable, & meat is juicy & tender. The cheesy corn is the greatest: the sweetness & the saltiness.

Very liked it here. The food was good. Would have been better if we have choices of sauces except sweet soy sauce. I loved the corn cheese. We came on a busy Sunday & the staff was fast.
Great fun experience! If you love Korean BBQ, then this is a must. The prices are very good (especially compared to U.S. prices). The portions are smaller hence the lower price. There are many sides such as potato salad, noodles, kelp, bean sprouts, spicy cucumber, lettuce, kimchi, corn, egg, garlic & sauces along with soybean soup. All the sides are unlimited as long as you still have meat on the table. I got the pork belly & beef tenderloin. The pork belly is amazing, juicy & fatty. Love it. Beef tenderloin is what it is. Doesn't grill as well since it's not fatty. Pork items definitely taste better with Korean BBQ. Also got the mushrooms order & a bowl of rice (rice is not free). The seafood pancake is meh, could've skipped that. It didn't have any flavor. Overall, great experience. Would come again.
