We came here as last resort since the other bbq shops were full but we're surprised at how good this place is. This is like the staple of kbbq in canada, everyone knows this place.
We ordered 2 types of meat (1 pork, 1 beef) & it came with so many other side dishes & soup. The layout of the grill is so unique, with very delicious egg stew & cheese & corn. The soybean paste stew was also amazing as it paired well with the meats. They gave us a bit of lettuce but I wish they gave us more. Sauces were provided too.
Great unassuming KBBQ spot! The meats were very good, delicious & tender. Also arrives with an amazing assortment of accoutrements! Price is somewhat on the high side but quality is very good.
Easily my favorite KBBQ spot. Daldongnae is always such a great experience, the food is consistently amazing every single time.
This visit, the staff were super attentive! Multiple people checked in on our table & when I accidentally dropped my chopsticks, one of the servers noticed before I even did & brought me a new pair right away. The service really stood out this time. Thank you!
This KBBQ has two locations downtown, both operating on the same concept. all-you-can-eat banchan, a soup to share, at least an order of meat per guest. The pork belly with skin was excellent & the beef tenderloin melted in the mouth. The staff frequently made their rounds to refill the banchan, & they
showcased various flavors of soju. The inconvenience is that our coats smell like BBQ for a few days.
The best KBBQ I've experienced. I've been to many in the states (GA, Boston, NY), Montréal, & Vancouver. This specific Daldongnae location definitely trumps them all.
By far the best Korean BBQ I've ever been to. The cheesy corn is amazing & the bowl they give you to put your meats on has so oh h amazing flavours in it. I've been to a few Kbbq places & nothing compares

Great KBBQ place, though a bit on the pricey side, it gets the job done. However, the service is quite slow, & the waiters kept forgetting what they were asked to bring. This happened multiple times during my visit. If they could improve the service, it would make the experience much better.
As a vegetarian, I've always missed out on the kbbq experience UNTIL I stumbled upon daldongnae. Their vegan set is amazing, gives you a good variety of vegan/ vegetarian protein options (vegan sausage & tofu) along with several vegetables & mushrooms as well. Together with the side dishes, it makes for a well balanced & delicious meal. Would definitely recommend for all vegan/ vegetarians!
Awesome KBBQ if you're walking around downtown & want to grab a tasty meal. Grill heats up fast & the sides are delicious (& are replenished for free!)
Definitely a good kbbq place! I'm used to California/LA/Korea KBBQ places so I would say this place is a bit more expensive & limited than those. You have to order two meats in total for two people & I prefer a wide variety for unlimited kbbq. I also wish they gave you rice for free & more lettuce, they really do not give you enough lettuce at all. But considering I live in Vermont, this is the best place around!
this is one of the best kbbq places in mtl. we tried their kimchi pancake & their kimchi stew as well as a selection of bbq beef & pork- everything was just so incredibly tasty!! the service was quick & efficient & the staff was nice & welcoming. not to mention the overall atmosphere of the restaurant is so cozy. ill definitely be back with more friends! p.s. as for the price per person that i judged it to be... pls take it with a grain of salt; my friend & i ordered way too much food for the two of us 😭😭
