The food is superb … pasok na pasok na panlasang pinoy! I spoke to the owner .. a lady (gosh I forgot her name) & I complimented her about how great the food was! Keep it up … definitely go back when k get to Montreal again!
Cuisine de Manille is a fantastic spot if you're looking for flavorful & authentic Filipino food. The service was quick, efficient, & friendly, which made the experience even better. The restaurant itself is more casual with only a few tables available, & they do not take reservations, but it still feels welcoming & comfortable. The food was the highlight of the visit, everything we ordered was incredibly delicious, rich in flavor, & clearly made with care. The portion sizes are also very generous for the price you pay, making it excellent value overall. I would definitely go back to try even more dishes from their menu.
This is hands down the best Filipino restaurant I have tried & I tell you I have tried MANY mostly in Mississauga & a few in Toronto. We only came to Montreal for a day tour & started to crave for Halo Halo. We looked up for Filipino restaurants near where we are but every one of them were more than 10Km away. Thank God for the all day train pass & we literally went super excited to get to Cuisine De Manille 8 stops later. We ordered a must broth of Spare Ribs Sinigang to match the Cebu Lechon, a Kare Kare & Goat Kaldereta were added as well as a small plate of Cassava Cake. Ofcourse the Halo Halo as our dessert.
The Pork Sinigang was the bomb with the sourness that perfectly meets what we have wanted for a Sinigang to taste like! We were also impressed with the crispiness of the Cebu Lechon & thought that was it, but then we tried the Goat Caldereta & we were instantly fans! We totally forgot about touching the Cebu Lechon after that Goat Caldereta sauce touched our palate! The Kare Kare according to my friend was nothing extra ordinary, the Cassava Cake wasn't sweet which is a good thing. It was just right. We were just too full slurping that heaven sent Pork Sinigang broth I barely touched the spare ribs but still ate one & it was good, then back again to the broth! The serving was good enough for 2-3 people to share but because it tastes so good, I would recommend to limit it to 2 so you won't fight over it in the end. The Sinigang was also packed with lots of veggies. The goat Caldereta was the highlight of our late lunch, it was unforgettable & we were trying to figure out how the sauce was made & maybe we can try cooking it at home but meh! I don't think so! It's too special to even attempt to duplicate it. The Halo Halo was fantastic full of ingredients & refreshing for a hot day. Overall this restaurant is something every tourist MUST visit. It is small but enough to hold batches of starving locals & tourists alike. We saw foreigners taking home party trays & that made us proud. I rated 4 stars for the service because we had to request for the serving spoons, we were given platitos instead of full plates so my rice were falling off, I need space for all that deliciousness to contain! Also the napkins were a bit scarce. But the food is the most important thing.
I hope they put up another branch in Mississauga or Toronto (I can uber eats if it's gonna be in Toronto). Whoever is your chef(s), sir/ma'am, hats off to you! The best Filipino food ever, ever, ever! Ever. 🤤❣?🍽?
We had a great experience at Cuisine de Manille in Montreal!
We chose this place because of the good Google reviews, & it definitely lived up to them. We ordered the kamayan platter, & it was absolutely delicious - it really reminded me of a traditional'boodle fight' back in the Philippines.
The platter included garlic fried rice, chicken BBQ, pork BBQ, calamari, ensaladang talong, & atchara - everything was flavorful & well-prepared. The presentation was also beautifully done.
What made it even more special was the atmosphere. The walls are decorated with Filipino memorabilia & even a framed news clip from when they first opened (around 2004, I believe). It really gives you that feeling of home.
We left feeling so full & happy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, & it's one of the places I recommend to anyone craving authentic Filipino food in Montreal.
It's a very simple place; you don't have too many visual references, but it's fine. They give good service. My first time trying Filipino food, & I love it! I'll be back for sure to try the fried chicken, & the rest of the menu looks good.
came here at the end of a week long trip in montreal & was craving homemade filipino food & this hit the spot, i will definitely be coming back!!
Not only was the place spick & span, but the person who served us, Rose, was very helpful & respectful! We are from Mexico & it was the first time we had tried Filipino food. It was DELICIOUS!!! Adobo reminded me of a mole, but with pork!!! What a great experience!!! If you are looking for Filipino food, then this is the place!

Amazing Filipino comfort food. The flavours, quality, portion, & price were excellent. The staff were friendly, & the the dining area was simple yet cozy.
AMAZING authentic Filipino food. I came there with my girlfriend & had the sisig, palabok, & halo-halo for dessert! AMAZING! I was actually born in the Philippines & had these dishes before, & eating here felt like home! Definitely recommend coming here!! We're also visiting from Massachusetts!! Definitely will be going back if we go back to Montreal!
I haven't tried much filipino food. This place provides me a great experience with the filipino food. I really love sisig. Palabok also tastes good.( salty ). The spicy chicken is sweet & not that spicy spicy. Cute decoration. But the weather is super hot & inside is so hot. Paid streer parking in front of the restaurant.
Delicious Filipino meal. I never really had a real filipino food before, only had the palabok from Jolliebee so I did not know what to expect when I go to the real filipino restaurant.
Well, turns out this place did not disappoint me at all! Everything is delicious. My fav would be the palabok. Well presented as well. Thank you for making the good food!!
I ordered the meal for two.
The pork belly was really dry. The calamari a real disappointment for my a lover of calamari. The chicken was flavourless… The only good thing were the pork items.. the rest, wasn't for me. I invite people to try but you could be disappointed:( & it was too expensive for what it was….
I really wish i liked everything because i was really craving some Filipino food.
My favourite Filipino restaurant in all of Montreal!! Great customer service, environment, & amazing flavours
Best Filipino food i've had outside of church, my mom & tita's homes & the islands themselves!! Ordered two platters & they were excellent & the staff were super kind!! highly recommend this place definitely the best filipino restaurant in Montreal. ingat ka :)
Amazing place! First time trying Filipino food & it was delicious. We split 2 platters between 6 people & tried as many things as we could, every part of it was great. The staff was also super friendly, thank you!
Very good authentic filipino food, the price is very reasonable for the servings you will get, will go back again
I have ordered a couple times using UberEats & chose to celebrate with my family in the restaurant, I learned that was more an order/pick up Filipino restaurant.
I wanted to try their food as fresh as possible for my birthday & that staff accommodated with a very friendly service! (Thank you m for your food & hospitality)
I highly recommend you try their food!
Cuisine de Manille is a solid spot for legit Filipino food! We had the kamayan feast, & it was hands down the best way to enjoy everything they offer. Grilled meats, seafood, veggies, & rice, all laid out on banana leaves for the ultimate feast. The flavors were on point, & eating with our hands made it even more fun! The staff is super friendly, & the vibe is relaxed. If you're visiting, definitely go for the kamayan experience-it's a must-try!
