I eat at Aunt Dai several times a year. The food & the service is top notch; I recommend going to eat at the restaurant in person, since they offer more dishes in house. The pricing & portions are reasonable, which is why I find myself coming back to this place repeatedly. My favourite dish is the fried fish in tomato sauce. It's always super light & crispy, & the sauce is a perfect mixture of sweet & savoury. If you like General Tao (which is also excellent at Aunt Dai), you'll love the fish with tomato sauce. A special shoutout to the owner & the team. They operate with a high degree of integrity & transparency; not only is this refreshing to see but is exemplified in the quality of their food. Hats off to Aunt Dai!
Really disappointed after reading such stellar reviews. Won ton soup was mid, weird taste I couldn't put my finger on, rolls were tiny, fried rice was bland, Singapour noodles were ok, not very curryish, & ginger beef was also bland. Overall, for a 95$ tab, nothing really stood out & would not eat again.
A cozy place with delicious food & a friendly waiter. The hot & sour soup was lacking a bit of the tangy/sour element but the cumin beef & eggplant with potato were amazing. I can't wait to go back & plan to try the mapo tofu.
Succulent restaurant chinois, avec des plats avec beaucoup de saveurs authentiques, le tout dans une très jolie ambiance & décor asiatique. Il devient un de nos meilleurs restaurants chinois sur Montréal.
Excellent food, the general Tao is the best I’ve tasted. Recommend the beef with hot peppers & the salt & pepper shrimp. Great selection & prices. Service is very good. A must try
Literally, if I come to this restaurant, the owner will know exactly what I wanna order without even lift up the menu, which is Spicy Diced Chicken. It's really a masterpiece of how to crispy fry the chicken; yet, not oily at all (unlike chickens from fast food restaurants). On top of that, the mix with Sichuan pepper generates this comfortably numb sensation on the lips; & good golly, I cant get enough of it whatsoeve
Really good! The place its nice & cozy, the staff its attentive & the food its really nice, the atmoaphere its a little queit but no complies, the food ita really good & they give good portions.
