All the food is mouthwatering. Had 2 beef dishes & 1 eggplant dish. All delicious with unique flavours.

Best chinese (non dumpling, non-soup, non-americanized) food I had in Montreal.

We had the sweet & spicy tofu, seasonal mixed vegetables in garlic sauce, & hot & sour soup. All were excellent. Large portions. Owner came by & shared their story. We will go back.

The owner is a really hard working & sincere person & makes an effort to meet with customers which is very nice. Overall the food is average at best but the offset is the price is not high either. Some dishes simply tasted off & it was a lot to do with their interpretation of how these dishes should taste & as a result, were not appealing to me as for example, general Tao tasted odd as did other dishes. What was safe was the wonton soup but I have to state that though this was light years away in quality & taste to La Perl or other amazing places this does fit a niche market. For those not looking for high or upper end food, plating, service, interior decor you are in the right place. & if you don't what to pay a high price - you're also in the right place. But in my opinion there are just so many other restaurant competing in this type of cuisine in & around Montreal, there are better places to spend your time & money. It's not a place I would go again or bring a date or family. But perhaps this is just me, perhaps my standards are too high? For me it's based on hundreds of experiences in eating this cuisine in places around the globe & locally. So it's up to you, try it & you may like it & the price, but if you're looking for something on an experience, a nice clean & modern atmosphere, & food that's made really well & recognizable - you may think elsewhere.

Edit - response to owner's comments: I feel bad for leaving an unfavorable review so I'm sorry about that. I've eaten at Just Noodles (Masson & St Joseph) since 2005. I frequently order the big bowl of wonton soup as a meal. It's a big bowl of tasty chicken broth & you can taste a hint of MSG in the broth. You can taste the spices in the wontons & everything is tasty, even the noodles, which soak-in the tasty broth. There's NOTHING left in the bowl when I'm done :) They also make a FANTASTIC Cantonese Chow Mein on crispy noodles (sadly, it depends on who is chef though - it is sometimes very unremarkable). You clearly are a talented chef & as I said, my meal was clearly well-prepared & appetizing-looking. I think that as a mid fifties Canadian guy who has eaten "Chinese food" all my life, I'm used to MSG in my Asian cuisine. Honestly though, the imperial rolls weren't fully cooked. The wrappers were still a little mushy on the inside, which may have contributed to the off taste. I really wish I had tried your shuǐ zhǔ niú ròu. I assume that' VERY tasty but I always order Cantonese Chow Mein the first time I try an Asian resto. Original review: After reading so many glowing reviews, I was anxious to try this place. I came for a Sunday lunch & ordered wonton soup, imperial rolls & the cantonese chow mein. The soup was literally flavorless. The'broth' is just hot water, not even a drop of sesame oil. The wontons had no discernible taste, not even salt. Imperial rolls are easy to make! Everyone loves mine but here, they're equally bland. I didn't finish either of my appetizers. The chow mein was well-prepared, looked appetizing & did taste ok but I've concluded that the cook here is afraid of using spices. I drowned it in a bunch of sriracha sauce to give it some taste. Sadly, if this is what it's like there, I won't be going back.

Visited AuntDai at the tail end of a trip to Montreal when we were craving some Asian cuisine. We had the hot & sour soup, wonton soup, Cantonese fried noodles & seafood & tofu wok. The latter was excellent; the noodles were good but I was expecting some of the noodles to be soft or moist, but they were all crispy. Not a deal breaker, but not what I was used to or expecting. Flavours were great overall - definitely adapted to western tastes but still very tasty. The space is nice & comfortable & the staff were friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

General Tao was good (not the best I have had but still quite good). The cumin beef was ok, but I wasn't blow away with a taste nor with their sour soup. The place was almost empty on Friday 8pm, which was a bit strange & didn't create a great vibe exactly.

This is a great find. Had Hot & Sour soup & Pad Thai, both were excellent. Staff & Chef were awesome & kind. Definitely returning here for lunches. Very reasonable also.

I don't know why this gets raves. It was barely passable. Hot & Sour soup had so much corn starch it was chewy & gooey. Ribs were tasteless as was the General Tsao. Maybe we are spoiled by Toronto Chinese food. Staff was great, however.

Really disappointed after reading such stellar reviews. Won ton soup was mid, weird taste I couldn't put my finger on, rolls were tiny, fried rice was bland, Singapour noodles were ok, not very curryish, & ginger beef was also bland. Overall, for a 95$ tab, nothing really stood out & would not eat again.

A cozy place with delicious food & a friendly waiter. The hot & sour soup was lacking a bit of the tangy/sour element but the cumin beef & eggplant with potato were amazing. I can't wait to go back & plan to try the mapo tofu.
