Love this place but it's kind of wack that they don't offer any options to change your dates or give you a credit for a different film if you have to cancel.
Reminds one of the good old days of independent cinema theatres before the 1990s. Excellent repertoire & small, cosy hall. Particularly appreciated are the mini introductions to each film made by staff - super brief but they add a sense of personality.
It's great that they have a bar & mini cafe as well, & I would be happy to support it more if only the prices there were even somewhat more reasonable & friendly. The cocktails are painfully more expensive for what you get than even at fancy cocktail bars & something like a cortado is up to two dollars more than at any cafe. Yes, it's a premium offering & gives patrons somewhere to sit & wait for a movie but it leaves a sense of having been squeezed that taints an another highly positive experience there.
Un cinéma de répertoire, excellentes sélections. Des cinéphiles extrêmement respectueux (Pas de cellulaire durant le film!) On peut y prendre une consommation alcoolisée ou non & manger. Un cinéma à découvrir! Je serai de retour très bientôt! Merci!

My first time here was to see Perfect Blue. Small & cozy place. The people working here are kind & even though I've seen the movie before & knew what to expect, I appreciate that they took the time to give a trigger warning in French & English before the film. It's a pretty intense film & not everyone is prepared for how heavy it becomes.
Theatre was very clean which I appreciate. My only issue is with the seats. Not super comfortable, & not much support. But I read in another review that's a WIP, so I'm glad they're working on that to ensure guests have a great experience :)
I love everything about this place-except the chairs. They're honestly some of the most uncomfortable, back-breaking seats I've ever used. I'm not even that tall & still had almost no neck support. At times, my back hurt so much I couldn't even focus on the scenes. I really hope they invest in better chairs soon

Ça fait du bien d'aller au cinéma & pas avoir à se soucier de distractions comme les retardataires & les cellulaires. Écouter un film c'est sacré je l'ai toujours dit!
Super sélection de films trouvables nul part ailleurs. Ça vaut la peine de jeter un coup d'oeil à la programmation pour remplir nos temps libres. Bon drinks & bonne bouffe aussi, surtout'L'autre' (c'est sur le menu). Bon film!

Ils ont une des meilleures sélection de films à Montréal & de bons cafés/bonnes bières.
Le seul point négatif (quoi que compréhensible car il s'agit d'un petit cinéma indépendant), c'est qu'ils ne remboursent/n'échangent pas les billets en cas d'annulation, même pour une raison valable comme une maladie. Or, comme la salle est petite, il faut souvent acheter d'avance pour avoir une place...
It was a very cozy & nice cinema with bar. The IPA was awesome! & we enjoyed the outdoor seating while waiting for the movie to start! Just one thing downside, we didn't like was there were some bugs inside the theater room, hovering around our food, & we think we might've eaten some with our popcorn. Also the chairs are a bit crowded & don't have good neck support. Other than those, it was a great experience!
I love this place. The smell of coffee during a movie for me > way better than those big cinema places. I also love that i can experience' old' movies on a big screen for the first time, like Princess Mononoke in Japanese ! Super cool. The employees are always nice too. The latte is pretty decent too. Popcorn was good last time I went
