Located in a prime spot in Chinatown, this underground restaurant is always bustling with a crowd. The atmosphere is vibrant, & the staff is incredibly friendly & attentive. The food was quite good, though it took some time to get used to the unique flavors. Portions are very generous-almost too much. By the time I finished the appetizer, I was already feeling full. Despite that, I went on to try the Singaporean noodles, chicken fried rice, & assorted vegetables, which were all quite tasty. Given the popularity of the place, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance to avoid the long queues.
The food here was so flavorful! I had the beef tripe, & the waiter made sure that I knew it wasn't an actual cut of beef (I did know, I've eaten it before, but I appreciate him making sure haha). The chow mein, chicken & potatoes, & fried rice were all great too. I've only had beef tripe twice, including this visit, but it's definitely the best out of the two that I've eaten. A great place in Quebec's Chinatown.
I went there for my birthday. The best way to fully enjoy the experience is to go as a group (make reservations ahead) & pick lots of plates to share with a big bowl of white rice. It's popular. The line up never ends & we quickly know why. The food is awesome. The place is small & doesn't aesthetically look awesome but who cares. We're here for the food!!!
This place is so unassuming & yet what a treasure! I have food sensitivities & allergies & I have been able to eat quite a few of their dishes. Their egg & vegetable fried rice is 🔥& the boiled fish in spicy chili oil is delicious. The salt & pepper tofu is another favorite. They were able to accommodate gluten-free & other allergies requests easily. We went back twice in one week after finding the spot. & now just placed orders through uber eats. Needless to say, we are hooked to their delicious food.
Ordered the pork salt & spices & wasn't disappointed with it ! It was salty & tasty, I got a huge portion for the price. It was enough to fill me twice with some rice. Kind & efficient service A good recommendation in the Chinese district
Food is good. Service sucks. Rice came last everything on the table got cold. We can't eat the food without the rice. So yeah. Even though the taste of the food is good, we won't be coming back don't Wanna eat cold dish with warm rice. Do better.
Received spoiled food that seemed okay. My boyfriend & I had gotten a couple dishes a month ago for our anniversary, it included the general Tao & two types of fried rice. The food tasted good but we'd gotten food poisoning for 2/3 days after so we recommend anyone to tell them to cook it well! The service was 10/10 though! Enjoyed the environment, we were just upset about our upset stomachs.
Great food, & taste very delicious. For the the fried rice a bit greasy but still yummy. I have to wait standing to be seated even when there a lots of available seats.
Went for dinner on a Friday night & selected the restaurant based on the below reviews . Had to wait about 10 mins on the stairs , during the wait they did not ask us how many seats . Finally they gave me a table which was vacant from the beginning . It's a noisy place .The tables are so close you can over hear all conversations . Coming to the food , I ordered sea food fried rice without squid . The rice was clamped up & not fried well with exact 6 big prawns which I felt was rubbery .
