We visited Chaiiwala of London in downtown Montreal this morning, & it turned out to be a really satisfying experience.
We ordered their Breakfast Deal along with a traditional desi Indian breakfast. After a long time, I genuinely enjoyed something this much the chickpeas (chana) that came with the desi breakfast were absolutely mouthwatering.
& of course, you can't go to Chaiiwala without trying their chai. The'karak' chai was served hot, strong, & full of flavor exactly how it should be.
Overall, everything hit the right spot. Highly recommended if you're craving authentic desi breakfast & a proper cup of chai.
J'ai mangé là-bas hier a l'heure du lunch j'ai pris le roulée butter chicken qui donnait envie sur la photo de la façade, finalement je me suis retrouvé avec un mini naan façon crêpe maison avec de la sauce poulet au beurre sans poulet, vraiment déçu.
I had a very poor experience at Chaiiwala of London on April 11 at around 9 Pm . The guy serving us had a rude & dismissive attitude, as if customers were an inconvenience. Nearly half of the menu items were unavailable, & when we asked for items that were still listed, he reacted as though we were doing something wrong. On top of that, the fries were very soggy. Overall, the customer service was disappointing, the attitude was unprofessional, & the experience did not feel welcoming at all.
Worst Tea ever from chain which is named'Chaiwala'. Dont ever order. Evaporated canned Milk with black tea. Literally you feel like throwing up. I wish they had a recepie for Tea..
Not the friendliest of places. Food seemed like it was not fresh. The only reason why it's getting any stars is because the karak chai was off the charts.
In this cold weather, chai is a total necessity & this is definitely the place to be! The karak chai was amazing & we had such a great time. Plus, the decor is stunning; it's the perfect photo spot for a girls' night out or just a cute daytime hang. 10/10, highly recommend! ☕✨
It's chaiiwala as brand but they don't know how to cook the chai. Guys put efforts to improve the chai. Koi zafrran wagra daal k improve kro taste. Don't make lassi in place of chai!!!
I recently visited this restaurant & had a bit of a mixed experience. The ambience was definitely a highlight-very well done, comfortable, & inviting. It's the kind of place where you'd want to sit & relax for a while. The tea was also excellent, full of flavor & served just right.
However, the service for food was extremely slow. We had to wait around 45 minutes, which felt quite excessive. It got to a point where we were seriously considering leaving, & we even asked to cancel our takeaway order because of the delay.
While the atmosphere & tea were great, the long wait for food really impacted the overall experience. With better service timing, this place has the potential to be much better.
