As fans of the new & old La Belle Tonki, we were looking forward to trying their smash burger joint. We arrived here around 6:30pm & there was already a lineup to order & most of the seats were taken. However, few people were eating. The good: you get the sense that much care & effort was put into the decor & marketing of the place. The walls are covered in cool posters (great conversation starters), the music was fun & the marketing/branding is well thought out. The food itself (once we got it) was delicious, prepared with care, presented nicely. Everything you would expect from a smash burger & fries, but extra. The menu is short & concise. Dirty fries were so good. The bad: the restaurant is located in a small semi basement & only counter/bar stools are available. This would not normally be a problem for a quick eats kind of place. However, after waiting 15 mins to order, we waited another 30 mins to actually receive the food. This wait time seems excessive for 2 burgers & 2 poutines. Finally, the ventilation should be improved because we left the place REEKING of oil. I'm not sure if we came on a off day for this resto but I feel like it is a victim of its success & cannot keep up with current demands. I would recommend trying the food as it was pretty good but don't come here hungry or in a rush.
Maybe the best burger I've ever had. Cannot recommend this enough.
Si vous voulez manger le meilleur smash burger en ville fait par un staff qui donne tout ce qu'il a dans la préparation de vos plats : allez chez Mange dans mon hood. Je recommande tout ! Get wild folks.
Victime de leur succès, même après avoir commandé, il faut s'attendre à "attendre". Mais quand c'est bon, c'est bon ! Le staff est gentil, leurs produits de qualité. J'ai adoré mon expérience. 20$ pour un Burger & frites ultra sauce & piments, aucun problème quand c'est bon. Je recommande... Mon coup de coeur 2024. 🥰 "Lâchez pas la gang, vous êtes géniaux !"
Après avoir vu des très bons avis sur tiktok nous sommes allés tester les burgers. Je confirme que les burgers sont vraiment excellent, les frites étaient également très bonnes. Par contre si vous avez vraiment faim prenez deux burgers. A la fin du burger on a regretté de na pas en avoir pris 2. L'ambiance & le service étaient parfaits. Je recommande les yeux fermés !
Best burger spot in Montreal, arguably Canada. Highly recommend the Cali burger & Ol' Dirty Fries. But the Happy burger is also amazing.
I been wanting to come this burger joint since I heard about & damn was everything good that ordered! I had the double happy cheeseburger with poutine wow was it good. I'd highly recommend this place anybody from the city or visiting.

I absolutely love this place! The unique design gives it a cool vibe. We initially stopped by for a quick bite, but it became a weekly tradition. The poutine & burgers are top-notch, making it one of my favorite spots in the city. Highly recommended!
