Mitch and Boom are childhood friends. Despite their different paths, they came together when they took over La Belle Tonkinoise on Jean-Talon, now the spot for the casse-croûte. "MangeDansMonHood" really hits home since Boom started his popups in his backstreet with that name.

Why burgers? Well, who doesn't love them? Plus, there's that nostalgic vibe that comes with them. The smell of beef sizzling on the grill, the fries, and our immigrant parents taking us there to treat us. Our burgers are meant to be simple but super good. Come see us in a house party vibe like the Michels used to organize!

What a busy place!

It deserves its reputation of best burger! The place is cozy in a sense even with the waves of people coming in & out.

The service is quick & easy, but most importantly, you can taste the care they put on the burgers. There aren't crazy number of choices, but that's the beauty of it.

Definitely a great add to my list of burger joint!

I Manger'd in the'hood...
Went with my daughter.
1:15 pm so after what I expected to be a lunch rush.
Still packed but no wait to order...10 minutes to get our food.
Parked right in front (A bit lucky...) Love the place, the owner's attitude towards staff...The staff was friendly & professional.
People in the'hood' are lucky to have this place near by...not somewhere I could go to often...(1:20 travel both ways)

Le smash burger était bon avec une viande bien croustillante & une sauce savoureuse. Par contre, j'ai trouvé que le beef patty manquait d'assaisonnement. Idem pour les frites. Celles-ci étaient un peu ramolis & trop cuite à mon goût (à la limite du brûlé).

Je suppose que ça doit être dû à la variété de la pomme de terre utilisée & que c'est un parti pris, mais personnellement je ne suis pas fan des frites sucrées. Pour cette raison, je recommande plutôt de prendre 2 burgers sans frites plutôt qu'un menu. D'autant que les burgers sont petits.

MDMH est un fast food correct, moyen. L'atmosphère est cool, les burgers sont bons mais sans plus. Rien d'exceptionnel comme le laisse croire la hype.

Un petit resto rapide très sympathique.
Deux choix de burgers...mais quels burgers ! Juteux, goûteux & à un prix très raisonnable.
La poutine à essayer avec des vraies frites maison & le petite fromage dessus excellent. Sauce non industrielle.
Vraiment à tester ( métro sortie Favre à deux pas)

It's worth it. Burgers are on point but as a frymaster the fries are a bit overdone.

All in all I spent 30 minutes driving there, 15 minutes in line, 10 minutes waiting for my order, 20 minutes eating & another 30 driving home. In one word: Worth.

It's cheap too, maxing out the menu is 25$ with the expensive drink & the loaded fries or poutine (& tip+tax.) Don't ask me how but they're beating McDonalds at their own game, with house ground beef & house sauce.

No dining space though, there's like 12 seats inside & a few picnic tables outside which are likely always jam-packed. I just opened my tailgate & ate there.

Worth it.
