Casse-Croute is a hidden underground fast-food place in the area of Jean Talon. I came to this place because they told me they have the best Burger of Montréal, honestly I don't think is the best, The burger was fresh & tasty but a little bit overcooked its a like a copy of a Big Mac Burger from Macdonalds. a hamburger without lettuce & without double bread.
The French fries were tasty even though they look a little bit burn. They have other things on the menu like poutines.
For the Atmosphere of the place you may find on the walls many stickers related to Asian culture movies all other kind of stuff. Temperature for the winter gets a little cold inside the restaurant.
For the service, orders are fast . But for the guy a the cash needs little more of contact with customers. Smiling is free.

been here a few times the veggie burger is phenomenal & there mdmh sauce is to die for !!! nice cozy place with really cool art on the walls ,extremely friendly staff!!!! my only complaint is about the fries, i really hope some changes can be made in regards to this as other reviews have pointed out. the fries Always come out so thin ,i understand that they are shoe string style, but this is way too thin & there are alottt of little bits that are bottom of the bag like pieces .i stopped ordering the fries all together because every time it was just a miss. but 100% return regularly for the veggie Cali burger . i love fries with my burger ,i hope some changes can be made

Mange dans mon hood est un super restaurant c'est super bon, les prix ne sont pas excessif & les frites trop bonnes. L'ambiance est trop cool avec une déco unique.

En ce dimanche ensoleillé, j'ai été ébloui par la devanture de ce magnifique casse-croûte pile à l'heure du dîner !
J'ai commandé un burger Happy & un Burger Cali (les deux burgers à la carte) & ils sont simplement divin !
Je vous recommande également leur frites sous toutes leurs formes, elles sont excellente !

Excellente place de smash burgers à Montréal, sur la rue Jean-Talon. Le décor a un côté nostalgique qui me rappelle mon enfance.
En général, quand le menu est court, tu sais que la bouffe va être solide.
On a commandé les burgers Cali & les frites Ol' Dirty.
Les galettes étaient bien juteuses, le tout servi dans des pains bien moelleux.
Le service était aussi vraiment chaleureux & sympathique.
Une super belle expérience qui a totalement comblé notre envie d'un bon smash burger!

i have to say, this place is in the top 5 for smash burgers spots in & around montreal. burgers abit smaller than the competition & the fries are on the dry side. not a bad place to go for a smash
I ate here for the first time today, & am I ever glad to have found it! Great food, people, & atmosphere - decor & music 😀
The owners are so friendly & helpful; I meant to order poutine, but ordered fries with our combos in error, & they were very accommodating & happy to fix my mistake.
As for the food... this is, hands down, the BEST smash burger 🍔 I've ever had. The fries were fresh, crispy, & lightly seasoned. Poutine gravy is A+.
Will be back for sure!

The place & the staff are super nice. I had the burger sur place & it was absolutely delicious, an exceptional burger!
The patty is juicy & fantastic, & the bun is perfectly soft & balanced, holding everything together just right. The burger is truly out of this world 🤯

The 75 minute drive was well worth it. It was the most flavor packed burgers I've ever had. The bacon jam was just perfect. I can't wait to go back... I went for lunch, might stay in Montreal to go back for dinner 😋

La poutine très bonne sauce unique un peu sucré fromage qui squick ... j'aime un peu moins les frites pas mon style. 9.7
