Casse-Croute is a hidden underground fast-food place in the area of Jean Talon. I came to this place because they told me they have the best Burger of Montréal, honestly I don't think is the best, The burger was fresh & tasty but a little bit overcooked its a like a copy of a Big Mac Burger from Macdonalds. a hamburger without lettuce & without double bread.
The French fries were tasty even though they look a little bit burn. They have other things on the menu like poutines.
For the Atmosphere of the place you may find on the walls many stickers related to Asian culture movies all other kind of stuff. Temperature for the winter gets a little cold inside the restaurant.
For the service, orders are fast . But for the guy a the cash needs little more of contact with customers. Smiling is free.
Tried the burger at Casse-Croûte MangeDansMonHood & it was absolutely delicious! The bread was soft, the patty had a subtle smoky flavor, & everything came together perfectly. The restaurant is tucked away in a cozy basement spot, & the service was impressively quick. Even our kids loved the burger - & they usually don't like hamburgers! Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out.

J'adore les hamburgers & suis allée à ce restaurant vendredi dernier avec une amie. Tout était délicieux, le service sympatique; la seule note moins positive à mon avis c'est que je crois qu'il manque de ventilation dans la cuisine car mon amie & moi sommes sorties de là (avons mangé sur place) sentant le hamburger à plein nez! Cheveux & vêtements très odorants & en me réveillant dans la nuit, je sentais encore le hamburger lolll
Je ne sais pas ce qu'ils font mais les génies dans la cuisine de MDMH ont réussi à pousser l'art du hamburger aux limites de la perfection.
La galette de boeuf est parfaitement cuite, un peu croustillante même, jusqu'à l'apogée de la réaction Maillard. Les condiments sont frais & savoureux.
Quant à eux, les trois ingrédients indispensables pour toute poutine qui se respecte; frites, fromage en crotte & sauce, sont choisis & préparés avec soin. La poutine explose de saveur.
Oubliez l'intelligence artificielle, les robots ou l'automatisation, le futur c'est MDMH.
Fantastic hamburger. One of the BEST in Montreal. Finally got to try this place on a Friday night. We got here when the lineup was only halfway. It quickly filled up. By the time you order & get your food, there is a spot to sit & eat. We had the Cali burger. Potato bun. MDMH sauce which is better than BigMac sauce. Double pattie burger. Fries & a poutine. The Cali burger is excellent. Sadly I did not like the fries, but my date did. The poutine was just ok. The burger is so good that I will go back many times. The service is execellent. The cashier managed to be friendly & jovial despite the endless lineup. All our food came out to 40$ taxes included.

Le personnel est accueillant. Le Happy Burger est vraiment bon. J' ai aimé que le pain ne soit pas réchauffé sur la plaque de cuisson des hamburgers ( c' est trop gras de cette façon). il y a une belle ambiance dans la place.
Déçu de l'expérience. C'était notre première & malheureusement dernière fois. Quand nous sommes arrivés un samedi midi nous étions seul ma copine & moi & malgré cela nous avons reçu nos hamburgers plutôt tiède, surtout nos pains qui étaient même froid je dirais. En plus du fromage sur notre poutine tiède qui était froid lui aussi. Le Goût étaient ok, mais sans plus. Dommage pour un resto dans lequel je voulais aller depuis plus d'un ans. En partant de la rive sud de Montréal c'est encore plus dommage. En regardant les derniers commentaires je comprends que j'aurais du les lires avant d'y aller. De ce que je comprends la qualité semble avoir baissé depuis quelques temps malheureusement pour notre expérience. J'ai aimé le décors par exemple même si pour le goût ça n'y change rien. J'espère que la qualité y reviendra.
Cet endroit est super cool, les hamburgers sont délicieux, le service est rapide & tout le monde est très aimable. De plus, les prix sont très accessibles.

Casse-Croute Mange Dans Mon Hood va sûrement devenir le hype de son quartier. Le service est rapide pour le takeout. L'endroit est vraiment cool, tu peux même acheter du merch. La musique est trop forte à mon goût. La poutine régulière, ça va, format correct, quand même dispendieuse, frites trop minces, sauce trop salée. Le fromage, par conrre vraiment délicieux & il fait sqwik sqwik. Le hamburger, oh la la, je le trouvais dispendieux, mais on est ailleurs. Il est vraiment bon. Il vaut son prix. J'aurais apprécié des napkins dans mon sac takeout.
My colleague was praising MangeDansMonHood so I finally decided to give it a try. I was very impressed with the atmosphere; great old school hip-hop playing through the speakers, cool nostalgic memorabilia displayed by the cashier, STREET FIGHTER SODA 🤯 The burgers & fries are delicious. I came in during rush hour but it was definitely worth the wait 💯 Definitely worth it if you're a hamburger lover & a hip-hop head.
Ambiente diferente e descolado! O atendimento é estilo fast-food, o hamburger custa entre 8-10 dolares e vale super a pena se você estiver pela região! É daqueles smashes que você sente o gostinho da brasa! Já o poutine não vale a pena…
