Depuis le temps que j'en entends parler & que je vois des commentaires. Finalement, j'y suis allé, Il était 13h30, & c'était plein à craquer. Une queue pour commander, espérer qu'une table se libère... pas pour moi! J'opte pour apportez. Je tiens compte du délai avant d'arriver chez moi dans mon commentaire. Le menu est simpliste, seulement 2 options de burger. Le burger ( le Cali, dans mon cas) wow, délicieux, juteux. Un des meilleurs burgers de Montréal, sans aucun doute! La poutine, elle, pas très bonne. Les frites trop cuites. Elle manquait de sauce qui est d'ailleurs très bonne.Malheureusement, Il y en avait seulement sur le dessus. Pour le burger 5☆, pour la poutine 2☆.
I mean, it wasn't bad, but if I wanted to eat a Big Mac, I would have just gone to Mcdonald's. The dill in the poutine sauce was throwing me off. It was good as a one time experience, not somewhere I'd go back to.

Un des meilleurs smash burgers que j'ai mangé à Montréal. Sérieusement. La viande est bien écrasée, belle croûte caramélisée, ultra juicy. Le pain est parfait & le burger reste bien structuré jusqu'à la dernière bouchée.
Si vous y allez, prenez le Cali, la sauce est vraiment excellente, bien balancée, ça fait toute la différence pour un smash burger.
Par contre, j'ai moins aimé la poutine. Les frites n'étaient pas au niveau du burger.
2 choix de burger & c'est tout ( il y a aussi de la poutine & 2-3 autres choses) Pas besoin de plus. Du vrai burger, du smash burger. Pas chère, goûteux. Juste parfait. La sauce MDMH est excellente.
Beau petit casse croute, les burgers Cali sont parfaits. On a gouté leur poutine dirty 2.0 de la poutinne week, elle était sauceuse à souhait & pleine de saveu
been here a few times the veggie burger is phenomenal & there mdmh sauce is to die for !!! nice cozy place with really cool art on the walls ,extremely friendly staff!!!! my only complaint is about the fries, i really hope some changes can be made in regards to this as other reviews have pointed out. the fries Always come out so thin ,i understand that they are shoe string style, but this is way too thin & there are alottt of little bits that are bottom of the bag like pieces .i stopped ordering the fries all together because every time it was just a miss. but 100% return regularly for the veggie Cali burger . i love fries with my burger ,i hope some changes can be made

Il y a seulement 2 versions de smash burgers sur le menu: un classique & l'autre avec une sauce maison (sauce MDMH). J'ai toujours pris le 2e option.
Honnêtement, pour environ 10$ & pour l'exécution rapide, je trouve que c'est un très bon smash burgers. La viande n'est pas sèche & bien assaisonnée. De plus les bords sont un peu croustillants. Le reste des ingrédients goûtent frais. Le seul truc c'est que je trouve rien de particulier avec la sauce MDMH, c'est meilleur que la sauce typique ketchup/relish/etc, mais pas plus spécial que ça & personnellement j'en voudrais un tout petit peu plus dans mon burger.
Poutine régulière: les frites sont quand même bien: style La Belle Province, mais julienne, donc en conséquence plus croustillante. La sauce je trouve manque un peu de saveur. Sinon, la portion est assez grosse. Comme la poutine ne m'a pas marquée, je prendrai seulement des frites la prochaine fois comme accompagnement.
Je recommande cette endroit pour un bon smash burger classique.
heard it was the best burger in town & it did not disapoint. Cali w the bacon jam was delicioso 🤌🏽, poutine was solid aswell .
if youre like me & get icked out by meat, i can guarantee no pink blood IN SIGHT. the taste of the patty was perfectly flavoured with the COMBINASSTION of the sauces. the bun… also perfect.
Tout d'abord j'entends souvent cet endroit où les burgers 🍔 sont goûteux & pas de flafla.
De l'extérieur ça n'as pas l'air d'un restaurant.
Une fois descendu de quelques marches je remarque que l'endroit est assez petit.
Les décorations sont très biens contenus de sa vocation.
Le service est excellent & convivial.
J'ai commandé une poutine & le Happy burger 🍔
La poutine : la sauce assez salée, les frites 🍟 sont petites, minces & trop foncées (l'huile?)
Le burger : c'est bien mais la viande smash & mince donne des extrémités pas mal brûlés.
Je n'ai pas eu le WoW espérer pour ma part

Je suis retourné une 2ieme & j'étais très satisfait le burger était moins brulé & les frites sans la poutine sont différentes
This place is simple, all they offer is two types of burgers but damn they've nailed it. The smash patties were crisp but juicy & the vegetable, sauce were perfectly placed on the bun, well balanced. No extra lettuce or tomatoes & it just tasted like the best smash burger I've ever had. The pricing is also very decent. Halal would def recommend.

I've heard raving reviews about this place &, in terms of the vibe & staff, they're spot on. The staff are super friendly & fast to serve, & the music & atmosphere in this spot is unique. It's a small basement restaurant, but with enough room to dance to the nice tunes.
The food is where this place loses me. The fries were soggy & mushy, though decently seasoned, but a lot of little bits & potato skin pieces. The burger was extremely greasy, to the point where oil was literally pouring out of the wrapping paper. The burger also looked like it has been squished into a ball, compared to all the gorgeous photos I see in other reviews. It was covered in sauce, which is not bad, because I like a juicy burger, but it was a bit too much. Thankfully, they had given me a mountain of napkins, which were necessary. Worst of all, I found an eyelash (or a short hair) imbedded in the meat of my patty when I was nearly done eating. That completely put me off my food.
I feel like my experience is not the norm, & I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but I need some time before I come back to this spot.
Première expérience & je n'ai pas été déçu. J'ai pris le Cali Burger & la frite dont je ne me souviens plus le nom avec la sauce MDMH & les pickles. Tout était « bon dans yeule » ou délicieux si vous préférez! C'est le genre de place que j'aime: menu simple, juste assez atypique, service rapide. J'y retournerai assurément quand je repasserai dans le coin.
I love hole in the wall restaurants & this fits the bill. Its actually downstairs & not a hole. I love all the posters down the stairs & on the walls. It brought back memories of all the movies I used to watched. The menu has 2 choices of smashburgers & fries. I love that its not complicated!! So we got the Happy & the Cali smashburgers. They were both delicious!You have to try'Ol' dirty fries. The fries were crispy & then you mix in the cheese sauce with the other ingredients & its amazing. The staff were so nice & so funny. Definitely coming back!!
It's not a table service kind of place. You will cue, you will wait, you will eat, & you will leave.
The service is still great. The staff is obviously working as fast as possible to handle 20 customers at a time. The cashier still has time for your jokes & questions.
The burger? What a burger… hands down the best smash burger I've ever had. It's not even debatable. Maybe other places tie for best (at best). If you're gonna complain about the size, just ask for an extra patty at 4$. It's worth it.
The meat was perfectly cooked, slightly oily, & very crispy. Just the right amount of sauce & other condiments. Heavenly placed pickles. Magical bun.
The fries are good. Not great. They're like a thin'à l'ancienne'. I feel like they could be crispier but I'm sure I'll learn to love them. They make for an interesting poutine texture & flavour with the spices they use. The jury is still out on how much I like it.
Lastly, this is the first time I see a'casse-croûte' that doesn't serve hot dogs, but if they did, I'm sure they'd be friggin' delicious so I wonder if it's in their plans.
