"WOW, just WOW! I'm still drooling thinking about the most epic cheeseburger I devoured at Casse-Croûte MangeDansMonHood! The juicy patty was cooked to perfection, the cheese was melted to a golden brown, & the fresh veggies added a delightful crunch. But what really stole the show was the toasted brioche bun - soft, fluffy, & slightly sweet. It all came together in a beautiful harmony of flavors & textures that left me speechless! The service was top-notch too - friendly, attentive, & knowledgeable staff who clearly share a passion for burgers. If you're a cheeseburger aficionado like me, do yourself a favor & GET. HERE. NOW. 10/10 would recommend, 10/10 would return (again, & again, & again...)"

Great spot! Burgers are delicious, dirty fries are good. Taking a star off as I feel like there's some improvement to be made in how they call orders... waited nearly 40 minutes for my order only to go up & ask about it & be told my names been called several times - I'm not sure if it's a combination of how loud the music is or a long queue forming but I never heard anything close to my name despite being sat relatively close to the counter & listening attentively the whole time. Burger was still delicious despite it sitting for 20 or so minutes. Hoping that next time I'm back they can be a bit louder with order calling :)
Holy burger & fries, a masterwork of smash burger & fries. The poutine is classic & excellent. Would go back right now & I just ate here.
Very eccentric. Small basement with lots of charm. The guy that took the order was friendly & professional. Took 2 Cali burgers & ask for the off the menu "Dirty" poutine to share with my better half. OMG that poutine was exceptional. The burgers were delicious. Everything felt very fresh. Will go again for sure.
Man did I love this place, the burger was perfectly simple, tasty & well executed. The staff was very friendly with suggestions & the decor was so fun.

Great burgers & fries. It has indoor seating, but the place is usually packed & it's hot af/full of smoke as the range hoods can't keep up. Not a bad thing, & contributes to the atmosphere, but probably be ready to take your stuff to go (they have tables outside too).
Yummy & fresh burgers solid 9.5/10 The space is a bit small but there's tables outside to eat. The staff is super friendly. Got hamburgers & a poutine, both very good.
Best smash burger I've ever eaten. I'm still thinking about it 2 weeks after the facts. I will be back & I'll recommend this place to anyone who wants a great smash burger. Instead of a burger & fries, just get two burgers. Trust me
Hands down THE BEST burgers I've ever had. Period. Yes, I've been to In-N-Out & Fuku Burger among a plethora of other burger joints from fast food to gourmet, but this -THIS is the holy grail, my friends. The burger in its final form after being stripped naked & dressed with only the finest essentials. Also, it feels like you're entering an underground hip hop party as soon as you walk in. Vibes on point. I came here on a trip, visiting from MA, but this place makes me wish I lived around MTL. Maybe one day... In the meantime, everyone -GO HERE NOW.
I scoured best burger lists for days, & this one came up more often than not. Happy to report that they deserve every bit of hype because WOW. Simple & fresh ingredients come together so deliciously. & those dirty fries were *chef's kiss*. Highly recommend!
By far one of the best burger places in Montreal in recent memory. It's a blend between chains like Shake Shack & In & Out from the US. It's a little on the pricey side for burgers, & a bit out of the way if you're not used to going around the city itself, but it's definitely a much visit. Go for the Cali burger. The tomato & their signature sauce makes the burger standout for sure. The sides are alright. The fries themselves are great, & their take on the animal style fries are decent if you want to share with someone. It's definitely more of a takeout spot for me personally as it's incredible smokey inside & it's always quite busy so getting a picnic table is a hassle. The staff is friendly & the decor is great, but it's definitely a wait, as everything is cooked to order.
10/10 . Great vibe. Great smashburgers. Fries were phenomenal. I loved it all. The decor is really cool & unique. Music is great there. It exceeded my expectations. They sell smashburgers here, not burgers. There is a difference . Will come again if ever I'm in the area. Which I am rarely. Would be nice if they had another location in Laval. I foresee that happening in the future anyway.
Man, did I want to LOVE this smash burger. It's been on my burger radar for a year. The basement was jamming, smoke filled the air & solid 30min wait before consumption, which is no biggie for burger magic. The decor & drink selection are impeccable & expertly thought-out. Staff is friendly. The fries, one of the best in the city, no doubt. Fresh, perfectly salted & go down like water. It's the burger, the star of the show, that left me wanting, almost needing more. More sauce, more juiciness, just something more. It was a very good burger, priced beyond fairly for value but it didn't live up to the immense hype, for a burger aficionado like myself.
I have to say, this is one of the best burgers I have had in a while ! It's a small place, in the basement level, with limited indoor counter seating, an a few picknick tables outside... They have a limited menu... But don't let that deter you from giving this very casual & friendly place a try. The smash burger are awesome!
An excellent burger joint. The best thing about it is the burgers, delicious fresh fatty meat patties done to perfection. Definitely one of the best burger joints in town. The fries are pretty good too, as is the funky vibe in the place. But you basically go to a burger place for the quality of the burgers & on that count, this joint rocks.
MDMH has one really solid smash burger, & even better fries. A hip atmosphere, wide selection of beverages, & great service make this place highly recommendable. While I wish it was more central within Montreal & not out of the way, I otherwise cannot complain about this establishment. So good that I had to buy some merch. Looking forward to my next visit very soon!
