By far one of the best burger places in Montreal in recent memory. It's a blend between chains like Shake Shack & In & Out from the US. It's a little on the pricey side for burgers, & a bit out of the way if you're not used to going around the city itself, but it's definitely a much visit. Go for the Cali burger. The tomato & their signature sauce makes the burger standout for sure. The sides are alright. The fries themselves are great, & their take on the animal style fries are decent if you want to share with someone. It's definitely more of a takeout spot for me personally as it's incredible smokey inside & it's always quite busy so getting a picnic table is a hassle. The staff is friendly & the decor is great, but it's definitely a wait, as everything is cooked to order.
Cool concept, bouffe tres bonne & decors le fun le tout dans une belle ambiance. Cependant service très lent, surtout le dude a la caisse, il pitonne pas vraiment vite. Mauvaise aération & quand même assez cher 9$ pour un burger.
10/10 . Great vibe. Great smashburgers. Fries were phenomenal. I loved it all. The decor is really cool & unique. Music is great there. It exceeded my expectations. They sell smashburgers here, not burgers. There is a difference . Will come again if ever I'm in the area. Which I am rarely. Would be nice if they had another location in Laval. I foresee that happening in the future anyway.
Man, did I want to LOVE this smash burger. It's been on my burger radar for a year. The basement was jamming, smoke filled the air & solid 30min wait before consumption, which is no biggie for burger magic. The decor & drink selection are impeccable & expertly thought-out. Staff is friendly. The fries, one of the best in the city, no doubt. Fresh, perfectly salted & go down like water. It's the burger, the star of the show, that left me wanting, almost needing more. More sauce, more juiciness, just something more. It was a very good burger, priced beyond fairly for value but it didn't live up to the immense hype, for a burger aficionado like myself.
Eating here felt like home, don't ask why. Great service with super friendly staff! The decor & overall aesthetic of the place felt like I was with family. The burger itself was really good, paired with a drink from the fridge you can just grab for yourself made for an excellent combo
Overall disappointing experience. As fans of the new & old La Belle Tonki, we were looking forward to trying their smash burger joint. We arrived here around 6:30pm & there was already a lineup to order & most of the seats were taken. However, few people were eating. The good: you get the sense that much care & effort was put into the decor & marketing of the place. The walls are covered in cool posters (great conversation starters), the music was fun & the marketing/branding is well thought out. The food itself (once we got it) was delicious, prepared with care, presented nicely. Everything you would expect from a smash burger & fries, but extra. The menu is short & concise. Dirty fries were so good. The bad: the restaurant is located in a small semi basement & only counter/bar stools are available. This would not normally be a problem for a quick eats kind of place. However, after waiting 15 mins to order, we waited another 30 mins to actually receive the food. This wait time seems excessive for 2 burgers & 2 poutines. Finally, the ventilation should be improved because we left the place REEKING of oil. I'm not sure if we came on a off day for this resto but I feel like it is a victim of its success & cannot keep up with current demands. I would recommend trying the food as it was pretty good but don't come here hungry or in a rush.
They make a really solid smash burger here, & of all the burger joints I've tried in Montreal, they are my fav! The patty has a fantastic crust & is super flavourful. Love the decor here too, it's a mix of hiphop memorabilia with nostalgic Asian pop culture. Oh! & the music choice is ELITE
C'était ma première visite & ce ne sera pas ma dernière. J'ai déjà avisé plusieurs personnes de mon entourage. La décoration m'a ramené dans le temps. L'accueil est chaleureuse. Tout le monde est souriant & bienveillant. Les burgers & les frites sont'TO DIE FOR' !! La musique m'a fait voyager dans le temps & m'a fait chanté. Merci à Michel & toute l'équipe !
Folle atmosphere. Bonne musique. Bon decors. Employes respectueux & incroyable. Sourires honnete. Nouriture delicieuse!!
Decor & ambiance A1. Burger vedette est bon mais je crois que c'est un peu over rated. Les frites par contre sont folles.

J'adore cet endroit. Les Smashburgers & la frite old dirty sont délicieux. Le décor est vraiment cool, un mélange entre un old diner & un style rétro 90s nerd. C'est souvent occupé mais le service est assez rapide. Il y a quelques places assises à l'intérieur ainsi que des tables a picnic à l'extérieur. L'équipe est sympathique & souriante.
